FC Malcantone Agno
FC Malcantone Agno was a Switzerland, Swiss association football club based in Lugano. The club was established in 1955 but merged with FC Lugano in 2004. In its last season of existence, the team played in the second tier of Swiss football, the Nationalliga B, now known as the Swiss Challenge League. History Formed on 1 July 1955, Malcantone Agno played primarily in Swiss 2. Liga (football), the fourth tier of Swiss football. The club played its home games in the Centro Sportivo Passera, which offered space for 1,280 spectators. Cornaredo Stadium
Cornaredo Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Lugano, Switzerland. It is used mostly for football (soccer), football matches. It is a home ground of FC Lugano. The stadium has a capacity of 6,330. During the 1954 FIFA World Cup, it hosted one game. Alberto Regazzoni (born 4 May 1983) is a footballer from Switzerland who currently plays as left winger for AC Sementina. He has also played for the Swiss national squad. He started his career at FC Lugano, after the club faced bankruptcy near the end of 2002–03 season, he transferred to FC Malcantone Agno. Germano Vailati (born 30 August 1980) is a Swiss former professional football goalkeeper. Club career Vailati was born in Lugano. He started his professional career in the Canton Ticino, and played for a number of different teams, before he transferred to the prestigious club FC Sion in the summer of 2004. In the 2006–07 season Sion were promoted to the Super League. In the 2006–07 and 2007–08 seasons he played for in their first time in UEFA Cup.
