Fútbol Club Levante Las Planas ( Catalan: ''Llevant Les Planes'') is a Spanish football club from Sant Joan Despí, Barcelona currently playing in Liga F. History Levante Las Planas was founded in 1983 in Las Planas district as a merge of local teams UP Bética and Rayo Planense. The club is best known for its women's team, established in 1998. On the other hand, the male team plays in 7th-tier Tercera Catalana. In 2012 Levante Las Planas was promoted to the Primera División for the first time after topping its Segunda División group and beating Fundación Albacete and UD Tacuense in the play-offs. In its debut season the team ended in the lower half of the table with a comfortable 16 points margin over relegation positions. The club was promoted to the top division again on the final matchday of the 2021–22 season, beating direct rivals Espanyol (a fellow Catalan club and six-time Spanish champions) by a 3–0 scoreline. The 2010–11 Segunda División season (known as the Liga Adelante for sponsorship reasons) was the 80th since its establishment. The first matches of the season were played on 27 August 2010, the regular league ended on 4 June 2011, and the season ended with the promotion play-off finals on 18 June 2011. The first goal of the season was scored by Javi Guerra, who scored a sixth-minute goal for Real Valladolid against Villarreal B in the early kick-off. The first red card of the season was given to Hernán Pérez from Villarreal B in their opening game against Valladolid. Onome Ebi (born 8 May 1983) is a Nigerian professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Spanish Liga F club FC Levante Las Planas and the Nigeria women's national team. In 2019 she became the first African footballer to play in 5 FIFA World Cup Tournaments. Club career She played for Bayelsa Queens FC in the Nigerian Women's Championship before moving to Piteå IF and Djurgårdens IF in Sweden's Damallsvenskan. The 2019–20 Primera Nacional de Fútbol was the 19th edition of this league and the first season as the Spanish women's football third-tier league. On 6 May 2020, the Royal Spanish Football Federation announced the premature end of the league, revoking relegations and planning a new format for the promotion playoffs, to be played if possible by the seven group leaders and the best second qualified team.
