FC Khobi
FC Kolkheti Khobi ( ka, საფეხბურთო კლუბი კოლხეთი ხობი) is a Georgian association football club based in the town of Khobi. Following the 2024 season they were relegated to Liga 3, the third tier of Georgian football. The club has spent four seasons in the top division. History Established in 1936, Kolkheti played many years in Georgian championship during the Soviet Union. In 1988 the club won the title and advanced to the Soviet Second league where the next year they finished in the 5th place. After 1990, when Umaglesi Liga was formed, Kolkheti participated in initial three seasons. Later they spent several years in the second and third divisions. The club returned to the top flight for 1999/2000 season only to finish at the bottom of the table. In 2007, the club rejoined Pirveli Liga, where they played for ten successive seasons. FC Rustavi
FC Rustavi ('' Georgian'': საფეხბურთო კლუბი რუსთავი) is a Georgian football club based in the city of Rustavi. They compete in Erovnuli Liga 2, the 2nd tier of Georgian football. Founded in 2015, it is one of the youngest participants of the Georgian football leagues. The team has spent two seasons in the top division. History FC Rustavi have no legal connections with any of the football clubs previously existing in the city (''Gorda, Metalurgi, Olimpi''). As a new team, it was established on 3 July 2015. League performance Rustavi debuted in the second division the same year and achieved a modest goal of retaining a place in it by finishing in midtable. The 2012–13 Georgian Cup (also known as the ''David Kipiani Cup'') is the sixty-ninth season overall and the twenty-third since independence of the Georgian annual football tournament. The competition began on 29 August 2012 and will end with the final in May 2013. The defending champions are Dila Gori, after winning their first ever Georgian Cup last season. The winner of the competition will qualify for the second qualifying round of the 2013–14 UEFA Europa League. As Dila Gori, Zestaponi, Metalurgi Rustavi and Torpedo Kutaisi are participating in Europe, they will join the competition in the round of 16. 2012–13 Pirveli Liga was the 24th season of the Georgian Pirveli Liga. It began on 25 August 2012 and finished on 27 May 2013. Format 24 teams were divided into groups A and B to take part in a three-round competition. Group leaders gained promotion to the top tier, while bottom two clubs were relegated to the third division. 2011–12 Pirveli Liga was the 23rd season of the Georgian Pirveli Liga. The season began on 23 August 2011 and finished on 27 May 2012. 2008–09 Pirveli Liga was the 20th season of the Georgian Pirveli Liga. The Pirveli Liga is the second division of Georgian Football. It consists of 4 reserve teams and professional teams. Although reserve teams are allowed to play in the same league system, they were not allowed to play in the same division and therefore cannot be promoted. Pirveli Liga
The Georgian Erovnuli Liga 2 ( ka, ეროვნული ლიგა 2; ), organized since 1990 by the GFF, serves as the second division of professional football in Georgia. The league was introduced for the 2017 season under the current name as a part of reorganization process of the entire league system. It was formerly known as Pirveli liga (the First league). Structure There are ten clubs competing in Erovnuli Liga 2. During the season each club plays each other four times, twice at home and twice away. At the end of each season the winner gains automatic promotion and the bottom club is relegated. The runner-up and 3rd placed team participate in two-legged home and away play-off matches against the 9th and 8th placed clubs of Erovnuli Liga, respectively. In case two or more teams obtain an equal number of points, final standings are determined by an aggregate of the results between them.
