FC Hirnyk Rovenky ( uk, Футбольний клуб «Гірник») was a Ukrainian football club from Rovenky, Luhansk Oblast. In past it was named FC Avanhard Rovenky. History Main club Some trace its history back to 1924 when there was created the first football club in the city as the 1. "Krasny Gornyak". However, Avanhard is better known since 1946 when the team started to compete under the flag of Voluntary Sports Society (VSS) Shakhter. 1993–94 Ukrainian Football Amateur League
The 1993–94 Football championship of Ukraine among amateurs was the second season of the nationwide amateur competitions in the independent Ukraine and was known as the football competitions of fitness collectives or KFK for short. The tournament was conducted under auspices of the Football Federation of Ukraine before creation of the Ukrainian Football Amateur Association. As last year, the competition consisted of six groups that were divided by regional principal. The number of teams that competed has increased to 87 teams. The top two of each group were allowed to enter the transitional league next season. The Ukrainian Cup ( uk, Кубок України) is an association football national knockout cup competition run by the Ukrainian Association of Football. The competition is conducted almost exclusively among professional clubs. Since the 2003–04 season, the Cup winner qualifies to play the Ukrainian Premier League winner for the Ukrainian Super Cup. Current format The format of this competition consists of two stages: a qualification stage with two rounds followed by the main event (four rounds and the final game). The competition involves all professional clubs plus the two finalists of the Ukrainian Amateur Cup (since 2011).
