FC Germania Friedrichstal
The FC Germania Friedrichstal is a German association football club from Friedrichstal, Baden-Württemberg. The club achieved its greatest success in 2014 when it earned promotion to the Oberliga Baden-Württemberg for the first time. History FC Germania Friedrichstal was formed on 23 November 1913. Because of the effects of the First World War the club had to withdraw from football soon after, in 1915. After the war the club restarted in the lowest possible division, the local ''C-Klasse'' but had to withdraw from league football once more from 1925 to 1928. ''FC'' even had to leave the Southern German Football Association because of financial troubles caused by the hyperinflation in Germany. Verbandsliga Baden
The Verbandsliga Nordbaden is a German amateur football division administered by the Baden Football Association, one of the 21 German state football associations. Being the top flight of the Baden state association, the Verbandsliga is currently a level 6 division of the German football league system. Overview The league was formed as Amateurliga Nordbaden in 1945 in the northern half of the then-state of Württemberg-Baden, which is now the northwestern part of the German state of Baden-Württemberg. It was a feeder league to the Oberliga Süd and therefore the second tier of the football league system in the south of Germany until the inception of the 2nd Oberliga Süd in 1950. SV Sandhausen
Sportverein Sandhausen 1916 e.V., commonly known as simply SV Sandhausen or Sandhausen, is a German association football club that plays in Sandhausen, immediately to the south of Heidelberg in Baden-Württemberg. In sports leagues, promotion and relegation is a process where teams are transferred between multiple divisions based on their performance for the completed season. Leagues that use promotion and relegation systems are often called open leagues. In a system of promotion and relegation, the best-ranked team(s) in the lower division are ''promoted'' to the higher division for the next season, and the worst-ranked team(s) in the higher division are ''relegated'' to the lower division for the next season. The Regionalliga () is the fourth tier in the German football league system. Until 1974, it was the second tier in Germany. In 1994, it was introduced as the third tier. SV Linx
SV Linx is a German association football club from the district of Linx in the city of Rheinau, Baden-Württemberg. It is part of a 340 member sports club that also has departments for gymnastics and volleyball. History The club was founded on 12 June 1949 and first advanced out of local competition to regional play in the Landesliga in 1978, followed by a move up to the fourth-tier Verbandsliga Südbaden in 1981. As runners=up in 1987, the team rose to the Oberliga Baden-Württemberg (IV) but were immediately relegated after an 18th-place result. FC Astoria Walldorf is a German association football club from the town of Walldorf, Baden-Württemberg. The club is named after John Jacob Astor, who was born in Walldorf in 1763 and later emigrated to the United States where he became a successful businessman. Karlsruher SC is a German association football club, based in Karlsruhe, Baden-Württemberg that currently plays in the 2. Bundesliga, the second tier of German football. Jens Daniel Nowotny (born 11 January 1974) is a German former professional footballer who played as a defender. He played in nearly 300 official games with Bayer Leverkusen in one full decade, helping them reach the 2002 Champions League final.
