Football Club Copenhagen (, ), commonly known as F.C. København, F.C. Copenhagen, Copenhagen, or simply FCK, is a Danish professional football club based in Copenhagen. FCK was founded in 1992 as a superstructure on top of Kjøbenhavns Boldklub and Boldklubben 1903. F.C. Copenhagen has won a record 16 Danish Football Championships and a record 10 Danish Cups. In European football F.C. Copenhagen has reached the group stage of the UEFA Champions League and the group stage of the UEFA Europa League more times than any other Danish club and are the only Danish club who has reached the knockout stage of the Champions League. Copenhagen plays its matches at the Parken Stadium, which also serves as the venue for Denmark national football team matches. Parken, currently known as Parken - Connected by 3 for sponsorship reasons, and as Telia Parken (2014–2020), is a Soccer-specific stadium, football stadium in the Indre Østerbro (''Inner Østerbro'') district of Copenhagen, Denmark, built from 1990 to 1992. The stadium, which features a retractable roof, currently has a capacity of 38,190 for football games, and is the home of F.C. Copenhagen and the Denmark national football team. The capacity for concerts exceeds the capacity for matches – the stadium can hold as many as 50,000 people with an end-stage setup and 55,000 with a centre-stage setup. Benny Johansen
Benny Johansen (born 18 March 1949) is a Danish former football player and manager. He won the Danish championship twice as a player for B 1903 and once as a manager of FC Copenhagen. He played one game for the Denmark national under-21 football team in 1972. Clubs Playing career Johansen played his youth football for amateur club Ryvang FC, before making his senior debut for B 1903 in 1968. With B 1903, he won the 1969 and 1970 Danish football championship. Flemming Østergaard
Flemming Ammentorp Østergaard (born 31 October 1943 in ''Det Gule Palæ'' (Danish language, Danish: ''The Yellow Palace''), Ordrup) is a retired businessman, best known as long-time chairman of Parken Sport & Entertainment, who owns the football club F.C. Copenhagen. He is also known as ''Don Ø'' due to his sometimes Southern European paternal appearance, a nickname he received in the 1990s, by the editors of the fanwebsite ''"Fusionsnipserne"''. In the eighties he suffered leg injuries from a traffic accident. Although his doctor told him, that he would never walk again, he refused to give up, and managed to work and train his leg, so that he not only walked again, but also was able to win a club championship in his tennis club. The 1996–97 Danish Superliga season was the 7th season of the Danish Superliga league championship, governed by the Danish Football Association. It took place from the first match on July 28, 1996, to final match on June 15, 1997. The Danish champions qualified for the UEFA Champions League 1997-98 qualification, while the second and third placed teams qualified for the second qualification round of the UEFA Cup 1997-98. The fourth to sixth placed teams qualified for the UEFA Intertoto Cup 1997, while the two lowest placed teams of the tournament was directly relegated to the Danish 1st Division. Kim Brink (born 19 November 1958) is a Danish football manager. Coaching career Kim Brink started as manager of Odense Boldklub, and later managed Ikast fS and F.C. Copenhagen. Odense Boldklub He was the Odense Boldklub manager, at the time of the 'Miracle in Madrid', a match between Odense Boldklub and Real Madrid on 6 December 1994 in the Santiago Bernabeu in Madrid in the fourth round of the 1994-95 UEFA Cup. Real Madrid was defending a 3-2 win from the first match in Odense. Against all odds, Odense Boldklub sensationally won the match 2-0, and progressed to the quarter finals, where they were eliminated by the eventual winners Parma FC.
