FC Barcelona C
Fútbol Club Barcelona C was a Spanish football team that folded on 2 July 2007. The youth team of FC Barcelona, it played its home games at the Mini Estadi. Founded in 1967 as ''Barcelona Amateur'', it adopted the name ''FC Barcelona C'' in 1993. Unlike the English League, youth teams in Spain play in the same football pyramid as their senior team rather than a separate league. However youth and reserve teams cannot play in the same division as their senior teams. FC Barcelona C played its matches at the Mini Estadi, a stadium located within the club's facilities on Diagonal, attached to Camp Nou, with a capacity for 15,276 spectators. FC Barcelona last played in the fourth division. They were ineligible for promotion to the third level, as FC Barcelona B were playing in that category. Mini Estadi
Miniestadi (, meaning in English "Mini Stadium"), officially named "Miniestadi", was a football stadium in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. The 15,276-seat stadium was situated across from Camp Nou, the home stadium of FC Barcelona. The stadium was home to FC Barcelona B, FCB's reserve team, as well as their women's team and Juvenil A. The stadium is now replaced by the newly built Estadi Johan Cruyff, which was completed on 27 August 2019. Sporting use The stadium was home to FC Barcelona B, the reserve side of the famous Catalan club, until they moved to Estadi Johan Cruyff in the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper sports complex for the 2019–20 season. The stadium was also home to FC Barcelona C until July 2007, when they disbanded. It was also home to the Barcelona Dragons, an NFL Europe American football team, until they were disbanded in 2003. The 1984–85 Copa del Rey was the 83rd staging of the Spanish Cup, the annual domestic football cup competition in Spain. The tournament was attended by 142 teams from the higher echelons of Spanish football. The tournament began on 12 September 1984 and ended on 30 June 1985 with the final, held at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium in Madrid. The final was played between Athletic Bilbao (the defending champions of the tournament), and Atlético Madrid. The match ended with a 2–1 victory for the team from the capital, with Hugo Sánchez as the star, scoring two goals.
