FC Avangard Simferopol
Sports Club Tavriya () was a Ukrainian football club from Simferopol. Tavriya was a member of the Ukrainian Premier League from its founding and won the first Ukrainian Premier League making them one of three teams that have ever held this title. After the annexation of Crimea by the Russian Federation in 2014, the club was forced to cease its existence after 56 years, while in occupied Crimean peninsula a new club composed of some of its staff and players joined the Russian Football Union under the new name FC TSK Simferopol. FC Ural Yekaterinburg () is a Russian professional association football club based in Yekaterinburg that plays in the Russian First League. History The club was founded in 1930 and was known as Avangard (1930–1948, 1953–1957), Zenit (1944–1946), Mashinostroitel (1958–1959), and Uralmash (1949–1952, 1960–2002). Lokomotiv Stadium (Tavriya, ) is a multi-purpose stadium in Simferopol, Crimea. It is currently used mostly for football (soccer), football matches, and is the home of FC TSK Simferopol, and formerly SC Tavriya Simferopol. The stadium holds 19,978 people and was built in 1967 and renovated in 2004. The stadium hosted a friendly between the Soviet national football team, USSR and Bulgaria national football team, Bulgaria in 1979. Hockey Club Lokomotiv (, ), also known as Lokomotiv Yaroslavl, is a professional ice hockey club based in Yaroslavl, Russia. It is a member of the Tarasov Division in the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL). The name of the team is derived from its owner, Russian Railways, the national railroad operator. On 7 September 2011, nearly the entire team perished in a plane crash. The team's flight to a game in Minsk crashed during takeoff, killing all of the team's roster (except forward Maxim Zyuzyakin, who was not on the flight), all coaching staff (except goaltending coach Jorma Valtonen, not on the flight) and four players from the Loko 9 juniors squad of the Minor Hockey League (MHL). The 1958 Soviet Football Championship, Class B () was the ninth season of the Soviet Class B football competitions since their establishment in 1950. It was also the eighteenth season of the Soviet second tier professional football competitions. Overview It involved participation of 94 "teams of masters" split in six groups which were composed by regional principle to some extent. Compared with the previous season, the number of participants was increased by 30(!) teams and there were added two additional groups. The teams were distributed somewhat equally among the six groups with five groups containing 16 teams and one "Far East" group - 14. Out of all 94 teams only one was set to receive promotion. Nova Kakhovka (, ; ) is a List of cities in Ukraine, city in Kakhovka Raion, Kherson Oblast, southern Ukraine. Nova Kakhovka has been under Russian occupation of Kherson Oblast, Russian occupation since February 2022.
