FC Altay Constanța
Fotbal Club Altay Constanța was a Romanian football club based in Constanța, Constanța County, founded in 1945 and dissolved in 2006. The club last played in the 2005–06 Divizia B season. History The club was founded in 1945 as ''SCEC (Societatea de Electricitate Constanța – Constanța Electricity Company)'' and played in the Regional Championship until the end of the 1962–63 season, when finished as runners-up in Dobrogea Regional Series and promoted to Divizia C. The squad including players such as Cataramă, V. Olteanu, Rădulescu, Giovani, Munteanu, Antonescu, Datcu, Doroș, Mihai, Suliman, Dumitru. Followed eighteen seasons in the third division in which was a mid-table team and finished twice as runners-up ( 1973–74 and 1974–75). Electrica Stadium () is a multi-purpose stadium in Timișoara, Romania. It is currently used mostly for association football, football matches and is the home ground of ACS Electrica Timișoara, Electrica Timișoara and FC Ripensia Timișoara, Ripensia Timișoara. The stadium holds 5,000 people and is located in the Fabric, Timișoara, Fabric district. In the past it was also the home ground of FC Politehnica II Timișoara, Politehnica II Timișoara. Divizia B
The Liga 2, most commonly spelled as Liga II, is the second level of the Romanian football league system. The league changed its name from Divizia B just before the start of the 2006–07 football season. It is currently sponsored by Casa Pariurilor, a betting company under the official name Liga 2 Casa Pariurilor. Format Since its inception in 1934, Liga II has had between 2 and 9 parallel divisions, with clubs divided based on geographic regions. But since the 2016-17 Liga II, it changed to one group of 20 teams. Currently, the top six teams goes in the promotion play-off, in which the top 2 teams get promoted and the next 2 play a promotion play-off against teams from Liga I. The 2002–03 Divizia C season was the 47th season of Divizia C, the third tier of the Romanian football league system. Starting next season, Divizia B will consist of three groups of sixteen teams, while Divizia C will feature nine groups of fourteen teams each. The top two teams from each Divizia C group, along with the four best 3rd-placed teams (a total of 20 teams), will earn promotion.
