FCI Tallinn II is an Estonian football team based in Tallinn, Estonia. It is the reserve team of FCI Tallinn. In 2017, Tallinna FC Levadia and FCI Tallinn FCI Tallinn (FC Infonet Tallinn) is an Estonian football club, based in Lasnamäe, Tallinn. FCI Tallinn (FC Infonet Tallinn) is an Estonia, Estonian Football team, football club, based in Lasnamäe, Tallinn. Formed in 2002, the club played in the Estonian top flight Meistriliiga from 2013 Meistriliiga, 2013 to 2017 Meistriliiga, 2017, and won the league in the 2016 Meistriliiga, 2016 season. In 2017, the club merged with FC Levadia Tallinn, Levadia, with the main team and first reserve disbanded, the second reserves, playing in the II Liiga, the fourth level, inherited the club's name. History The club was founded in 2002. Before the 2011 season, the club merged with Esiliiga club FC Atletik. They finished the 2011 season in second place, but were beaten in the promotion play-offs by FC Kuressaare, Kuressaare 1–5 on aggregate. The 2014 Esiliiga was the 2nd season of the Esiliiga B. The season started on Friday 28 February 2014, and concluded on Sunday 9 November 2014. The 2016–17 Estonian Cup was the 27th season of the Estonian main domestic football knockout tournament. FCI Tallinn won their first title after defeating Tammeka 2–0 in the final. The winner of the Cup were to qualify for the 2017–18 UEFA Europa League, but as FCI Tallinn were already qualified for the Champions League as 2016 Meistriliiga champions the spot passed to Flora. The 2015 Esiliiga was the 25th season of the Esiliiga, second-highest Estonian league for association football clubs, since its establishment in 1992. The season started on 8 March 2015 and concluded on 8 November 2015. Flora II won the league on the last day of the season, finishing with 72 points. It was their second league title. Tarvas finished 4th and were promoted to the Meistriliiga for the first time in their history. Tallinna Kalev finished 6th and qualified to the promotion play-offs but were beaten by Tammeka 2–4 on aggregate. Esiliiga B
The Esiliiga B is the third division in the Estonian football league system. The Esiliiga B is ranked below the Esiliiga and above the II liiga. As in most countries with low temperatures in winter time, the season starts in March and ends in November. Competition format The league consists of 10 clubs, all teams play each other four times. Both the winning team and the runners-up are promoted to the Esiliiga directly, whereas the third place club will participate in a two-legged play-off with the 8th place club of the Esiliiga for a spot in next year's competition. Similarly, the 2 bottom placed teams are relegated to the II liiga.
