F-Zero Climax Box
is a series of racing games published by Nintendo, developed by Nintendo Entertainment Analysis & Development, Nintendo EAD and other third-party companies. The F-Zero (video game), first game was released for the Super Famicom in Japan in 1990. Its success prompted Nintendo to create sequels on subsequent consoles. The series is known for its high-speed, futuristic racing, characters and settings, difficult gameplay, and original music, as well as for pushing technological limits to be one of the fastest racing games. The original game inspired games such as ''Daytona USA (video game), Daytona USA'' and the Wipeout (video game series), ''Wipeout'' series. Nintendo EAD
commonly abbreviated as Nintendo EAD and formerly known as Nintendo Research & Development No.4 Department (abbreviated as Nintendo R&D4), was the largest software development division within the Japanese video game company Nintendo. It was preceded by the ''Creative Department'', a team of designers with backgrounds in art responsible for many different tasks, to which Shigeru Miyamoto and Takashi Tezuka originally belonged. Created by Masahiro Sakurai, the ''Super Smash Bros.'' series is a crossover featuring many characters from other video game series created by Nintendo and other developers. F-Zero Climax
is a racing video game developed by Suzak Inc. and published by Nintendo for the Game Boy Advance (GBA) handheld console. The game was released in Japan on October 21, 2004, and marked the final ''F-Zero'' installment for 19 years until the 2023 release of ''F-Zero 99''. Players race in vehicles on numerous courses while navigating past obstacles. While the game is a 2D racer, its Mode 7-styled graphical effect allows the track to be scaled and rotated around the vehicle to simulate a 3D environment.
