F-Minus
F-Minus was an American hardcore punk band formed in 1995 in Huntington Beach, California, United States, started by Jen Johnson and Brad Logan. F-Minus was known for their dueling male and female vocals in songs that were sometimes as short as 12 seconds ("Fuck You O.C."). Before breaking up in 2004, their last album was recorded by Steve Albini. Throughout their career, they covered such bands as Antidote, Black Randy and the Metro Squad, 7 Seconds, Negative Approach, and Agnostic Front. Brad Logan
Brad Logan, sometimes called Brad Minus, is an American punk rock guitarist from Los Angeles, California, who also owns and operates Blacknoise Recordings, and has collaborated on projects with Alternative Tentacles. Logan was the frontman and guitarist for hardcore punk band F-Minus but is most famous for his work in the group Leftöver Crack. In 2018, Logan joined Adolescents following the death their founding bassist Steve Soto. "Brad Logan" is also the title of a song written about him by Rancid. It is featured on the " Chef Aid" episode of the TV show ''South Park'', as well as on the album '' Chef Aid: The South Park Album.'' Logan has been a roadie for many bands, including Rancid, Social Distortion, Alkaline Trio, NOFX, Chris Robinson of The Black Crowes, Flogging Molly, and Dance Hall Crashers. Leftöver Crack is an American punk rock band formed in 1998, following the breakup of Choking Victim. The band is currently signed to Tankcrimes for CD releases, and Alternative Tentacles for vinyl releases. Leftöver Crack spans several different music genres including hardcore punk, ska, and crust punk. They write mostly political lyrics of a Far-left politics, radical leftist nature, opposing religion, capitalism, and authority. Members of Leftöver Crack reside in the C-Squat on 155 Avenue C (Manhattan), Avenue C on the Lower East Side of Manhattan. Natives of New York City, band members have a well-documented history of back-and-forth conflict with the NYPD which precedes the band's formation. The label, an offshoot of Epitaph Records, was started as a partnership between Brett Gurewitz of Bad Religion, the owner of Epitaph, and Tim Armstrong of Rancid, who was generally responsible for signing bands. ''F Minus'' is a horizontally oriented single panel comic strip by Tony Carrillo, started when he was a sophomore at Arizona State University. It ran daily in ''The State Press'', an independent newspaper at ASU, from early 2003 until late 2004, when Carrillo graduated. In an online mtvU strips contest with Scott Adams of ''Dilbert'' fame as member of the jury and with almost 200,000 people voting to find the best college comic strip, ''F Minus'' came in first place. Having won a development deal with United Features Syndicate through the contest, syndication of ''F Minus'' (in daily newspapers) began in April 2006 and reached 70 United States newspapers within a year.
