Martín Daniel Ezcurra (born April 23, 1987) is an Argentine palaeontologist naming many extinct genera such as '' Aerotitan'', '' Lophostropheus'' and '' Powellvenator''. Biography Ezcurra was born on April 23, 1987. He first got into paleontology in 2002 while working with Fernando Novas in Argentina. He went to university in Buenos Aires, Munich, and Birmingham. His first papers were published in 2006. Martin Ezcurra obtained his Master's-level studies in 2012 at the Universidad de Buenos Aires (Argentina) with specialization in animal anatomy and systematics. As an undergraduate student, Martin conducted since 2002 research on basal dinosaurs and theropods under the advice of Dr. Fernando Novas in the Museo Argentino de Ciencias Naturales (Buenos Aires, Argentina). Exequiel Ezcurra
Exequiel Ezcurra (born March 21, 1950, Buenos Aires, Argentina) is an Argentine-Mexican plant ecologist and conservationist. His highly interdisciplinary work spans desert plant ecology, mangroves, island biogeography, sea birds, fisheries, oceanography, and deep-sea ecosystems. Between 2008 and 2019 he was director of the University of California Institute for Mexico and the United States. He is now a professor of plant ecology at UC Riverside. Education Ezcurra received his B.S. from the University of Buenos Aires in 1973. He then received an M.Sc. and a Ph.D. in plant biology from the University College of North Wales in 1978 and 1984, respectively. At Bangor, his primary mentor was Peter Greig-Smith, a renowned ecologist whose academic lineage of mentors can be traced back to Charles Darwin. Alma Lucía Ezcurra Almansa (; born 1986) is a Spanish politician of the People's Party (PP). She was elected to the Assembly of Madrid in 2023 and the European Parliament in 2024. Biography Born in Madrid, Ezcurra graduated with a law degree from the Autonomous University of Madrid and has a master's degree in business law. Encarnación Ezcurra
María de la Encarnación Ezcurra (March 25, 1795 – October 20, 1838) was an Argentine political activist, wife of Juan Manuel de Rosas. She was the daughter of Juan Ignacio Ezcurra and Teodora de Arguibel. She married Rosas on March 16, 1813. She became her husband's most faithful follower, helping him in many difficult circumstances. In 1833–1834, her husband was away from Buenos Aires leading an army in the Desert Campaign to extend Argentina's frontier. She was the driving force behind the Revolution of the Restorers, and was the president of the Mazorca, an organization which acted as a secret police. The Revolution of the Restorers unseated Juan Ramón Balcarce the governor of the Buenos Aires. The Mazorca put pressure on every government worker to vocally campaign for the return of de Rosas.
