Eytan Ben-David
Eytan Ben-David ( he, איתן בן-דוד; born in 1963) is a former senior Israel Security Agency official, currently serving as Acting National Security Advisor and Head of the National Security Council in the Office of the Prime Minister of Israel. Biography Ben-David, son of Aliza and the late Azaria Witihovsky, was raised in Kiryat Ono. He was drafted into the IDF in 1982. He volunteered as a paratrooper in the Paratroopers Brigade. He served as a soldier and a squad leader. In 1983, he became an infantry officer after completing Officer Candidate School and served as a platoon leader and company commander in the Bislamach Brigade and fought in the first Lebanon War. In 1986, he retired from the IDF and joined the Israel Security Agency (then the General Security Service). Yossi Cohen
Yosef "Yossi" Meir Cohen ( he, יוסף מאיר כהן; born 10 September 1961) was the Director of Mossad, the national intelligence agency of Israel. Early life Cohen was born in Jerusalem to a religious family and grew up in the Katamon neighborhood. His father Aryeh was an eighth-generation Sabra who was descended from one of the founding families of the Mea Shearim neighborhood of Jerusalem. He worked in a senior position at Bank Mizrahi and was also an Irgun veteran. His mother Mina was a teacher and school principal. She was a seventh-generation Sabra, born to a Jewish family rooted in Hebron, now part of the West Bank. The School for Infantry Corps Professions and Squad Commanders (Hebrew: ''Beit HaSefer LiMfakdei Kitot UMiktzo'ot Heil HaRaglim'', best known by its acronym Bislamach) is the Israel Defense Forces body responsible for the training of all Infantry Corps squad commanders and platoon sergeants. Established in 1974 under the command of Yaakov Hasdai, the school comprises three operative battalions (17th, 906th, and 450th), ordinarily used for training. During wars or emergencies, as was the case during the Yom Kippur War, these serve as fully operational combat forces.
