''Extractors The Hanging Worlds Of Zarg'', also known as ''Diggers 2'', is a puzzle video game developed by Millennium Interactive. It was published in 1995 for DOS by Psygnosis in Europe and by Vic Tokai, Nova Spring in North America. It is the sequel to 1993's ''Diggers (video game), Diggers''. A version for the Amiga CD32 was produced but never released. Gameplay ''Extractors'' is a science-fiction puzzle game in which three different races seek to overthrow the evil Quarriors. Development and release ''Extractors'' was developed by the Cambridge-based studio Millennium Interactive. Work was initiated in September 1993, shortly after the release of the game's predecessor ''Diggers (video game), Diggers''. Initially announced as ''Diggers 2'', the project was led by designer and programmer Toby Simpson, who served the same role on the first game. Psygnosis Limited (; known as SCE Studio Liverpool or simply Studio Liverpool from 1999) was a British video game developer and Video game publisher, publisher headquartered at Wavertree Technology Park in Liverpool. Founded in 1984 by Ian Hetherington, Jonathan Ellis, and David Lawson, the company initially became known for well-received games on the Atari ST and Amiga. In 1993, it became a wholly owned subsidiary and first-party developer of Sony Computer Entertainment (SCE) and began developing games for the original PlayStation (console), PlayStation. It later became a part of SCE Worldwide Studios. The company was the oldest and second largest development house within the company.
