''Exposure'' is the debut studio album by American girl group Exposé, released on March 2, 1987, by Arista Records. It reached number 16 on the ''Billboard'' 200 and number 20 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart, and was certified double platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) in May 1990. The album spawned four top-ten singles on the ''Billboard'' Hot 100 chart, including " Seasons Change", which topped the chart in February 1988. Other successful singles were the breakthrough single "Come Go with Me" (number 5 U.S.), a re-recorded version of the song "Point of No Return" (number 5 U.S.), and " Let Me Be the One" (number 7 U.S.). Exposé is an American Freestyle music, freestyle vocal group originally formed in 1984 in Miami, Miami, Florida. The group has primarily consisted of lead vocalists Jeanette Jurado, Ann Curless, and Gioia Bruno. The ''Billboard'' 200 is a record chart ranking the 200 most popular music albums and EPs in the United States. It is published weekly by '' Billboard'' magazine to convey the popularity of an artist or groups of artists. The chart grew from a weekly top 10 list in 1956 to become a top 200 list in May 1967, acquiring its existing name in March 1992. Chris Lord-Alge is an American mix engineer. He is the brother of both Tom Lord-Alge and Jeff Lord-Alge, both of whom are also audio engineers. Chris and Tom are known for their abundant use of dynamic range compression for molding mixes that play well on small loudspeaker and FM broadcasting. Euge Groove
Steven Eugene Grove (born November 27, 1962), better known as Euge Groove, is an American smooth jazz saxophonist. Early life and career Born in Hagerstown, Maryland, he graduated from the University of Miami School of Music in 1984. Grove did not record his first solo album until 2000. Prior to that, he had replaced Richard Elliot in the Tower of Power when Elliot decided to pursue a solo career; he also did session work with various pop acts, most noticeably the Miami girl group Exposé. He has a sax solo on their No. 1 hit "Seasons Change," and another on their 1993 hit "I'll Never Get Over You (Getting Over Me)." Early life and education Ann Curless was born on October 7, 1963 in Albany, New York. She was raised in Miami Beach, Florida and attended school there. During her years attending Miami Beach High School, she joined Doug Burris's Rock Ensemble, and was a member of this from 1979-82. She enrolled in University of Miami Frost School of Music, majoring in both music and music merchandising. Jeanette Livier Jurado (born November 14, 1965, East Los Angeles, California) is a member and lead vocalist of the popular American girl group, Exposé, along with Ann Curless, Gioia Bruno and, in the group's later years, Kelly Moneymaker. ''She's So Unusual'' is the first solo album by American pop singer Cyndi Lauper, released on October 13, 1983, by Portrait Records. It stands out for its commercial success, achieving four top-five singles—a pioneering achievement for a female artist's first album. The album was re-released in 2014 to commemorate its 30th anniversary, and was called ''She's So Unusual: A 30th Anniversary Celebration''.
