Expo MRT Station
Expo MRT station is a Mass Rapid Transit (Singapore), Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) interchange station on the East West MRT line, East West line (EWL) and Downtown MRT line, Downtown line (DTL) in the Tampines Planning Areas of Singapore, planning area, Singapore. The station lies between Changi City Point and the Singapore Expo, located along Changi South Avenue 1 at the junction of Expo Drive. The station is part of the two-station branch line which extends from Tanah Merah MRT station, Tanah Merah to Changi Airport MRT station, Changi Airport station. Plans to connect the EWL to Changi Airport were finalised in 1996 and construction began in 1999. The station opened on 10 January 2001, a year earlier than Changi Airport station. It later became the terminus for the DTL upon the completion of Stage 3 of that line in 2017. Boon Lay MRT Station
Boon Lay MRT station is a Mass Rapid Transit (Singapore), Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) station on the East West MRT line, East West line (EWL) in Jurong West, Singapore. Situated along Boon Lay Way, the station is integrated with the Boon Lay Bus Interchange and Jurong Point as part of the Boon Lay Integrated Transport Hub. The East Coast Integrated Depot (ECID) is a large integrated bus and train depot located in Changi, Singapore. It will serve three Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) lines: the East–West line (EWL), the Downtown line (DTL) and the Thomson–East Coast line (TEL). It is currently under construction, with expected completion in the second half of 2026. The depot will be located beside the current site of Changi Depot, which will be demolished. Xilin MRT station is a future underground Mass Rapid Transit station on the Downtown line in Tampines planning area, Singapore.
