Existence
Existence is the state of having being or reality in contrast to nonexistence and nonbeing. Existence is often contrasted with essence: the essence of an entity is its essential features or qualities, which can be understood even if one does not know whether the entity exists. Ontology is the philosophical discipline studying the nature and types of existence. Singular existence is the existence of individual entities while general existence refers to the existence of concepts or universals. EXist
eXist-db (or eXist for short) is an open source software project for NoSQL databases built on XML technology. It is classified as both a NoSQL document-oriented database system and a native XML database (and it provides support for XML, JSON, HTML and Binary documents). Unlike most relational database management systems (RDBMS) and NoSQL databases, eXist-db provides XQuery and XSLT as its query and application programming languages. eXist-db is released under version 2.1 of the GNU LGPL. Features eXist-db allows software developers to persist XML/JSON/Binary documents without writing extensive middleware. eXist-db follows and extends many World Wide Web Consortium, W3C XML standards such as XQuery. eXist-db also supports Representational State Transfer, REST interfaces for interfacing with Ajax (programming), AJAX-type web forms. Exists (band)
Exists is a Malaysian rock band formed in Johor Bahru in 1991, originally under the name Exist. The group initially consisted of vocalist Muhammad Ali "Mamat" Kamarudin, guitarists Azhrul "Along" Nasir and Shah Nizam Abdul "Shah" Halim, keyboardist Mohd Faizal "Ajai" Maas, bassist Musa "Musrad" Radhi, and drummer Saharudin "Ujang" Saniman. They rose to fame with their 1991 single "Untukmu Ibu" and released their debut, self-titled album the same year. They followed up with ''Anugerah'' in 1993. In 1994, Mamat left to pursue a solo career, and he was replaced by Mohd Rohaizad Mohd "Ezad" Lazim, with whom the band recorded their third album, ''Diammu Gunung Berapi'', in 1995. After the release of ''Jangan Gentar'' , in 1997, the band added an "s" at the end of their name, becoming Exists. The album ''Mutan'' came out in 1998, and ''Ada'' was released in 2001. ''Exists'' is a 2014 American found footage monster horror film, directed by Eduardo Sánchez. The film had its world premiere on March 7, 2014, at South by Southwest, and stars Chris Osborn and Samuel Davis. The story revolves around a group of friends hunted by something in the woods of East Texas. Following the darker psychological tone of Sánchez's previous film '' Lovely Molly'', the film returns to the creature-feature horror of '' Altered'', also written by Jamie Nash. Plot Brothers Brian and Matt invite a group of friends - Matt's girlfriend Dora and their friends Todd and Elizabeth - on a camping trip to their uncle Bob's cabin in East Texas.
