Exarcheia Metro Station
Line 4 of the Athens Metro is a future line that will run from Alsos Veikou to Goudi. Construction of the line started in mid to late-2021 and is scheduled to be completed in 2029 or 2030. Line 4 had been under consideration for many years. Its exact route was changed multiple times. One of the most famous routes was the U-shaped line from to (which are current stations of lines 1 and 3 respectively), including a branch to Vyronas. However, the route from Alsos Veikou to Goudi was chosen, as it has the benefit of being the one passing from the densely populated areas of central Athens, like Galatsi, Exarheia, Kolonaki, Kaisariani and Zografou. In the distant future, it will be extended further north to Ethniki Odos and to other important suburbs of Athens, like Marousi. Pangrati
Pangrati or Pagrati ( el, Παγκράτι) is a neighborhood in Central Athens, Greece, having an estimated population of 35,173 residents. Named after the ancient sanctuary of Hercules Pancrates ("All Powerful"), its frontage runs from Vasilissis Sofias Avenue along to Vasileos Konstantinou Avenue and Vassileos Alexandrou Avenue, just a few minutes walk from the National Gardens. Line 1 (Athens Metro)
Line 1 is the oldest of the three lines of the Athens Metro, running from to . The Athens-Piraeus Railway Company (SAP S.A.) first opened the line, between and , on 27 February 1869. On 4 February 1885 Lavrion Square-Strofyli railway line opened between Attiki Square and . These railway lines gradually merged and converted to a rapid-transit system. It was merged into the Athens Metro network upon the opening of Lines 2 and 3 on 28 January 2000. Network Line 1 connects the port of Piraeus with the northern suburb of Kifissia. Radical democracy is a type of democracy that advocates the radical extension of equality and liberty. Exarcheia Square
Exarcheia square is located in the Exarcheia neighborhood of Athens and it is considered the center of the neighborhood. The square is a gathering place for people of all ages, but especially young people, and many activities organized by anti-authoritarian or anarchist groups take place there. The center of the square was decorated until September 2022 by a sculpture called "''Τρεις Έρωτες''" ("''Three Loves''"), dated back to 1909.
