Exactly Right Podcast Network is an American podcast network founded by Georgia Hardstark and Karen Kilgariff in 2018. It produces 16 podcasts including ''My Favorite Murder'' which Hardstark and Kilgariff have co-hosted since 2016. History The creation of the network was announced on August 15, 2018., and officially launched on November 28, 2018 with five podcasts: ''My Favorite Murder'', ''Do You Need A Ride?'', '' This Podcast Will Kill You'', ''The Purrrcast'', and ''The Fall Line''. The network signed a two-year deal with Stitcher in 2019, which ''The Wall Street Journal'' estimated to be worth $10 million. As part of the deal, Sticher provided additional funding, advertising, and development tools to the network, and set the plan to create over a dozen more podcasts. Wondery is an American podcast network and publisher of numerous award-winning podcasts, including Dirty John, Dr. Death, and The Shrink Next Door. Paul Holes
Paul Holes (born March 15, 1968) is an American former cold-case investigator for the Contra Costa County Sheriff's Office. Holes is known for his contributions to solving the Golden State Killer case using advanced methods of identifying the killer with DNA and genealogy technology. Since retiring in March 2018, Holes has contributed to books, television, and podcasts about the Golden State Killer and true crime. Education Holes studied at the University of California, Davis, from 1986 to 1990. There he received his Bachelor of Science in biochemistry. As of January 2021, it is an independent podcast, after having been part of the Exactly Right Podcast Network for 2 years. The podcast has helped to publicize the disappearance of Dannette and Jeannette Millbrook, a cold case from Augusta, Georgia. History In 2017, Laurah Norton decided to make a podcast focusing on cases that had received little attention and had victims from underserved or marginalized communities. She first decided to focus on the Millbrook twins after hearing an episode of ''Thin Air'' discussing their case. Karen Kilgariff (born May 11, 1970 in Petaluma, California) is an American writer, comedian, singer, author, actress, television producer, and podcast host. She began her career as a stand up comedian in the early 1990s and later became a television actress, most notably as a cast member on ''Mr. Show''. ''Waiting for Impact'' is a 10-episode limited series podcast hosted by Dave Holmes (actor), Dave Holmes. It premiered on the Exactly Right Podcast network on October 12, 2021. It tells the story of a 1990s band Sudden Impact who disappeared after making an appearance in a Boyz II Men video. In addition to exploring the history of Sudden Impact, Holmes interviews other people who achieved fame in the 1990s music industry. Production In 1991 the band Sudden Impact appeared briefly in the music video for Boyz II Men's song "Motownphilly," which played frequently on MTV. After the video the band disappeared from the public eye.
