Evildead
Evildead is an American thrash metal band formed in Los Angeles in 1986. The band was originally composed of members of two former bands, Agent Steel and Abattoir, including guitarist Juan Garcia, who is their only remaining original member. During their initial nine-year run, Evildead released two studio albums: '' Annihilation of Civilization'' (1989) and '' The Underworld'' (1991). Evildead suffered from extended inactivity due to lineup changes and problems with making a third album, which resulted in their breakup in 1995. After a reunion from 2008 to 2012, the band reformed once again in 2016, and have since released two more studio albums: '' United $tate$ of Anarchy'' (2020) and '' Toxic Grace'' (2024). United States Of Anarchy
''United States of Anarchy'' (stylized as ''United $tate$ of Anarchy'') is the third studio album by the American thrash metal band Evildead, released on October 30, 2020. It is the band's first studio album since '' The Underworld'' (1991), marking the longest gap between two studio albums in the band's career. Nearly five years in the making, the album was produced by Bill Metoyer, and also sees four-fifths of the '' Annihilation of Civilization'' lineup reunited, with Karlos Medina replacing original bassist Mel Sanchez. Just like their previous two albums, the artwork for ''United States of Anarchy'' was designed by Ed Repka. Background After a break following the accompanying tour for ''The Underworld'', Evildead headed back into the studio in 1993 to work on their third album, and recorded several demos including the songs "Humano", "Immortal" and "Dia de los Muertos"; these songs also appeared on the band's 1994 demo tape ''Terror''. However, internal disputes and problems ...

The Underworld (album)
''The Underworld'' is the second studio album by the American thrash metal band Evildead, released in June 1991 on Steamhammer Records. While the album was a mild success, it did not maintain the same popularity as '' Annihilation of Civilization'', likely due to its release coinciding with the advent of the grunge era, which ultimately resulted in a dramatic decline in the popularity of heavy metal in general. This would be their final album with founding vocalist Phil Flores (who left in 1993) and their only featuring guitarist Dan Flores (though he would stay in Evildead until their breakup and played on their 1994 demo EP '' Terror''), bassist Karlos Medina (who also left in 1993, although he would return in 2016) and drummer Doug Clawson (who left not long after the album was released). Although the band had made several attempts to make a third album during early-to-mid 1990s, and again during their initial reunion from 2008 to 2012, ''The Underworld'' would be Evildead' ...

Edward J
Edward is an English male name. It is derived from the Anglo-Saxon name ''Ēadweard'', composed of the elements '' ēad'' "wealth, fortunate; prosperous" and '' weard'' "guardian, protector”. History The name Edward was very popular in Anglo-Saxon England, but the rule of the Norman and Plantagenet dynasties had effectively ended its use amongst the upper classes. The popularity of the name was revived when Henry III named his firstborn son, the future Edward I, as part of his efforts to promote a cult around Edward the Confessor, for whom Henry had a deep admiration. Variant forms The name has been adopted in the Iberian peninsula since the 15th century, due to Edward, King of Portugal, whose mother was English. The Spanish/Portuguese forms of the name are Eduardo and Duarte. Other variant forms include French Édouard, Italian Edoardo and Odoardo, German, Dutch, Czech and Romanian Eduard and Scandinavian Edvard. Short forms include Ed, Eddy, Eddie, Ted, Teddy a ...

Black Flag is an American punk rock band formed in 1976 in Hermosa Beach, California. Initially called Panic, the band was established by Greg Ginn, the guitarist, primary songwriter, and sole continuous member, and singer Keith Morris. They are widely considered to be one of the first hardcore punk bands, as well as one of the pioneers of After breaking up in 1986, Black Flag reunited in 2003 and again in 2013. The second reunion lasted well over a year, during which they released their first studio album in nearly three decades, ''What The...'' (2013). The band announced their third reunion in January 2019. Black Flag's sound mixed the raw simplicity of the Ramones with a style of atonality, atonal guitar solo, guitar soloing compared to that of the New York Dolls’ lead guitarist Johnny Thunders, and, in later years, frequent tempo shifts. The lyrics were written mostly by Ginn, and like other punk bands of the late 1970s and early 1980s, Black Flag voiced an Anti-authorit ...

Headbangers Ball
''Headbangers Ball'' is a music television program that consists of heavy metal music videos airing on MTV and its global affiliates. The show began on MTV on April 18, 1987, playing heavy metal music videos from both well-known and more obscure artists. The show offered (and became famous because of) a stark contrast to Top 40 music videos shown during the day. However, with the mainstream rise of alternative rock, grunge, pop punk and rap music in the 1990s, the relevance of ''Headbangers Ball'' came into question, and the show was ultimately canceled in 1995. Over eight years later, as new genres of heavy metal were gaining a commercial foothold and fan interest became unavoidable, the program was reintroduced on MTV2. It had remained in varying degrees on the network's website, but by the early 2020s, it was no longer shown on television. A similar show, titled ''The Ball'' and hosted by former ''Headbangers Ball'' host Riki Rachtman, debuted in March 2021. Many of the ...
