Evil Lives Here
''Evil Lives Here'' is an American documentary television series on Investigation Discovery that debuted on January 17, 2016. This 60-minute true crime show spends each episode interviewing a family member of the highlighted criminal. On August 23, 2020, Season 8 kicked off with a 90-minute episode called "I Killed Dirty John", on which Debra and Terra Newell recount their experiences with "Dirty" John Meehan. The format is featured on the spinoff series, ''Evil Lives Here: Shadows of Death'', in which both investigators and families of victims discuss the impacts murders had on their lives. Unlike its predecessor, the culprit isn't revealed right away in some episodes. On October 1, 2023, a spinoff sequel, ''Evil Lives Here: The Killer Speaks'' will premiere. Griselda Blanco Restrepo (February 15, 1943 – September 3, 2012) was a Colombian drug lord who was prominent in the cocaine-based drug trade and underworld of Miami, during the 1970s through the early 2000s, and who has also been claimed by some to have been part of the Medellín Cartel. Keith Hunter Jesperson (born April 6, 1955) is a Canadian-American serial killer known as the Happy Face Killer. He worked as a truck driver and murdered at least eight women between January 1990 and March 1995, later mailing many taunting letters to the media and authorities that he marked with smiley faces. Many of Jesperson's victims were sex workers and transients whom he preferred to kill via strangulation.
