Evidências
"Evidências" is a song written by José Augusto and Paulo Sérgio Valle in 1989 and made famous by Chitãozinho & Xororó on their album ''Cowboy do Asfalto'' in 1990, becoming the greatest hit on the radio in that year and receiving significant airplay the year after. It's one of the duo's signature songs, being popular in their concerts to date and being covered by numerous other artists. It is used in some internet memes and is considered the most popular song in Brazilian karaokes. History The song was composed by José Augusto and Paulo Sérgio Valle. It was first recorded in May 1989 by Leonardo Sullivan, who released it in June of that year in his album ''Veneno, Mel e Sabor'' This recording was only regionally released and failed to gain national success. Chitãozinho & Xororó
Chitãozinho & Xororó () are a Brazilian sertanejo duo. Chitãozinho is the stage name of José Lima Sobrinho and Xororó of Durval de Lima. Their music, which combines traditional Brazilian '' caipira'' with pop, was instrumental in establishing the ''sertanejo'' genre. They have sold over 40 million albums since their first album was released in 1969. Chitãozinho and Xororó are brothers, and were trained in music by their father, a vocalist and composer. They first performed publicly under the name Irmãos Lima, playing at '' festas juninas'' in Brazil. Their debut television appearance came in 1967 on Silvio Santos's show, and in 1969 they played on ''Cidade Sertaneja''. Paulo Sérgio Valle
Paulo Sérgio Kostenbader Valle (born August 6, 1940) is a Brazilian composer and lyricist. Career Valle started his career as part of the bossa nova trend when, with his brother Marcos Valle, he composed " Samba de Verão", which became one of the three Brazilian songs to become global hits along with "The Girl from Ipanema" and " Aquarela do Brasil." After this, Valle went on to write lyrics for various other composers, becoming one of the most important lyricists in a number of genres. He also became a successful jingle-writer as well. Valle is also the lyricist, alongside Nelson Motta, to write the Christmas theme song for Rede Globo, with music by Marcos Valle and arrangements by Hugo Bellard.
