Evgeniy Shiryaev
Evgeniy Aleksandrovich Shiryaev (; 23 September 1943 – 2 November 2023) was a Soviet and Russian composer, author of music for more than 100 films, instrumental concerts, operas, ballets and vocal works. Shiryaev graduated from the Oryol College of Music. He worked as a conductor in the Tashkent variety orchestra and was the first musical director of the band " Yalla". Yalla (band)
Yalla () is a folk rock band from Uzbekistan. They appeared in 1970 and in the 1970s–1980s and were popular across the Soviet Union and Warsaw Pact countries. The most prominent song of Yalla was "''Учкуду́к, три коло́дца''" ( trans. ''Uchkuduk, tri kalodtsa''; Russian for " Uchkuduk, three water wells"), released in 1981, and one of the most popular hits in the USSR in 1980s. The band is led by Farrukh Zokirov and directed by Igor Khalikov, with additional members including Abbos Aliyev, Javlon Tokhtayev and Timur Khalikov. Sofiia Mykhailivna Yevdokymenko-Rotaru ( ; ; ; born 7 August 1947), known simply as Sofia Rotaru, is a Ukrainian pop singer of Romanian origin.
