Evgeniia Levanova
Evgeniia Levanova (russian: Евгения Леванова; born ) is a Russian group rhythmic gymnast. She is a three-time (2017–2019) World Group all-around champion. Career Evgeniia took up rhythmic gymnastics at the age of 4 in her home town Cheboksary, Russia. Her mother introduced her to this sport. At the age of 12, she entered the artistic gymnastics department of the Nizhny Novgorod School of the Olympic Reserve. She joined Russian National team in 2016. In September 2019, Levanova and the Russian group won the Group All-Around title at the 2019 Rhythmic Gymnastics World Championships. They won bronze medal in 5 Balls final and another gold in 3 Hoops + 4 Clubs final the next day. She competed at Grand Prix Moscow in 2020, and apparently retired sometime in 2021. Cheboksary (; russian: Чебокса́ры, r=Cheboksáry, p=tɕɪbɐˈksarɨ; cv, Шупашкар, ''Şupaşkar'') is the capital city of Chuvashia, Russia and a port on the Volga River. Maxim Pavlovich Kovtun (russian: Максим Павлович Ковтун; born 18 June 1995) is a retired Russian figure skater. He is a three-time European medalist (silver in 2015 and 2017, bronze in 2016) and four-time (2014, 2015, 2016, 2019) Russian national champion. On the junior level, he is the 2012 JGP Final champion. Kovtun has successfully landed two quad jumps in a short program, and three quads in a free program. 2019 Rhythmic Gymnastics World Championships
The 2019 Rhythmic Gymnastics World Championships was held in Baku, Azerbaijan from 16 September to 22 September 2019. The competition took place at the National Gymnastics Arena and served as a qualifier to the 2020 Olympic Games. There were Olympic berths awarded to 16 individuals and 5 groups. There were 301 participating athletes from 61 countries. Dina Averina from Russia won gold medals in ball, clubs, and ribbon, and Ekaterina Selezneva won the hoop title. Averina, Selezneva and Arina Averina won Russia's tenth consecutive World team title. In the all-around finals, Dina Averina won her third consecutive World all-around title, becoming the fifth rhythmic gymnast to do so. Rhythmic Gymnastics World Championships
The Rhythmic Gymnastics World Championships are the world championships for the sport of rhythmic gymnastics. The tournament is promoted and organized by the Fédération Internationale de Gymnastique (FIG).
