"Everything Now" is a song by Canadian indie rock band Arcade Fire. It was released on June 1, 2017, as the first single from the band's fifth studio album, ''Everything Now'' (2017). It was produced by Thomas Bangalter, Steve Mackey and the band itself. The song samples "The Coffee Cola Song" by Francis Bebey. "Everything Now" is Arcade Fire's first number-one hit on a ''Billboard'' chart. Release Before playing " Neighborhood 1 (Tunnels)" during their Sunday headlining set at the 2016 Voodoo Music + Arts Experience in New Orleans, Arcade Fire recorded the audience singing a melody off their upcoming album, which became "Everything Now". The first release of the song came during the Primavera Sound festival in Barcelona, Spain on May 31, 2017. Sarah Neufeld (born August 27, 1979) is a Canadian violinist who is known for her work with indie rock band Arcade Fire, with whom she is a former core member and currently a touring member. She has contributed to each of the band's studio albums, to date. Neufeld is also a member of the instrumental band Bell Orchestre. Neufeld has released three solo studio albums: ''Hero Brother'' (2013), ''The Ridge'' (2016) and ''Detritus'' (2021), and released a collaborative album, '' Never Were the Way She Was'', with her husband Colin Stetson in 2015. Michael James Owen Pallett (born September 7, 1979) is a Canadian composer, violinist, keyboardist, and vocalist. Under their erstwhile moniker of Final Fantasy, Pallett won the 2006 Polaris Music Prize for the album '' He Poos Clouds''. Pallett is also known for their contributions to Arcade Fire, having toured with the band and been credited as an arranger and instrumentalist on each of their studio albums. In January 2014, Pallett and Arcade Fire member William Butler were nominated for Best Original Score at the 86th Academy Awards for their original score of the film ''Her'' (2013). The twelve-inch single (often written as 12-inch or 12″) is a type of vinyl ( polyvinyl chloride or PVC) gramophone record that has wider groove spacing and shorter playing time with a 'single' or a few related sound tracks on each surface, compared to LPs (long play) which have several songs on each side. Primavera Sound (commonly referred to as simply Primavera) is an annual music festival held in Parc del Fòrum in Barcelona, Spain that takes place between the end of May and beginning of June.
