"Everything Now" is a song by Canadian indie rock band Arcade Fire. It was released on June 1, 2017, as the first single from the band's fifth studio album, '' Everything Now'' (2017). It was produced by Thomas Bangalter, Steve Mackey and the band itself. The song samples "The Coffee Cola Song" by Francis Bebey. "Everything Now" is Arcade Fire's first number-one hit on a ''Billboard'' chart. Release Before playing " Neighborhood 1 (Tunnels)" during their Sunday headlining set at the 2016 Voodoo Music + Arts Experience in New Orleans, Arcade Fire recorded the audience singing a melody off their upcoming album, which became "Everything Now". Sarah Neufeld (born August 27, 1979) is a Canadian violinist who is known for her work with indie rock band Arcade Fire, with whom she is a former core member and currently a touring member. She has contributed to each of the band's studio albums to date. Neufeld is also a member of the instrumental band Bell Orchestre. Michael James Owen Pallett-Plowright (born September 7, 1979), known professionally as Owen Pallett, is a Canadian composer, violinist, keyboardist, and vocalist. Under their former pseudonym Final Fantasy, Pallett won the 2006 Polaris Music Prize for the album '' He Poos Clouds''. The twelve-inch single (often written as 12-inch or 12) is a type of vinyl ( polyvinyl chloride or PVC) gramophone record that has wider groove spacing and shorter playing time with a "single" or a few related sound tracks on each surface, compared to LPs (long play) which have several songs on each side. It is named for its diameter that was intended for LPs. This technical adaptation allows for louder levels to be cut on the disc by the mastering engineer, which in turn gives a wider dynamic range, and thus better sound quality.
