Evandro Agazzi (born 23 October 1934) is an Italian philosopher and professor at the University of Genoa. His fields of interest are ethics of technology, ethics of science and technology, logic, metaphysics, philosophy of language, philosophy of science, philosophical anthropology, and systems theory. Education Agazzi is a graduate of the University of Milan, where he studied physics and the Catholic University of Milan where he earned a Ph.D. in philosophy in 1957. Agazzi also did postgraduate work at Oxford University, Oxford and the universities of University of Marburg, Marburg and University of Münster, Münster. Teaching Agazzi taught mathematics at Genoa, and philosophy of science and mathematical logic at the Catholic University of Milan. Evandro Serafim Lobo Chagas (August 10, 1905 – November 8, 1940) the eldest son of Carlos Chagas (1879-1934), noted physician and scientist who discovered Chagas disease, and brother of Carlos Chagas Filho (1910-2000), also a noted physician and scientist who was president of the Pontifical Academy of Sciences.
