Eva Terčelj
Eva Terčelj (born 21 January 1992) is a Slovenian slalom canoeist who has competed at the international level since 2007. She won five medals at the ICF Canoe Slalom World Championships with a gold (K1: 2019), a silver (K1 team: 2022) and three bronzes (Kayak cross: 2023; K1 team: 2010, 2013). She also won three medals (2 golds and 1 silver) at the European Championships. Terčelj competed at two Olympic Games. She finished in 13th place in the K1 event at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London after being eliminated in the semifinal. She also competed in the K1 event at the delayed 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, finishing 24th after, once again, being eliminated in the semifinal. In 2010 Eva Terčelj finished the Bežigrad Grammar School and in 2018 received a master's degree in architecture from the Faculty of Architecture at the University of Ljubljana. 2011 European Junior And U23 Canoe Slalom Championships
The 2011 European Junior and U23 Canoe Slalom Championships took place in Banja Luka, Bosnia and Herzegovina from 14 to 17 July 2011 under the auspices of the European Canoe Association (ECA). It was the 13th edition of the competition for Juniors (U18) and the 9th edition for the Under 23 category. A total of 18 medal events took place. No medals were awarded for the junior women's C1 team event due to low number of participating countries. The U23 women's C1 team event did not take place. The women's K-1 slalom canoeing event at the 2020 Summer Olympics took place on 25 and 27 July 2021 at the Kasai Canoe Slalom Course. 27 canoeists from 27 nations competed. The women's K-1 canoe slalom competition at the 2012 Olympic Games in London took place between 30 July and 2 August at the Lee Valley White Water Centre. The gold medal was won by Émilie Fer from France. Competition format In the heats, each competitor had two runs; the 15 athletes with the best time qualified for the semi-finals. Each semi-final consisted of one run each and the best 10 qualified for the final. The final was also one run where the canoeist with the best time won the gold medal. ICF World Junior And U23 Canoe Slalom Championships
The ICF World Junior and U23 Canoe Slalom Championships are an annual international canoeing and kayaking event organized by the International Canoe Federation (ICF). The Junior World Championships were first held in 1986 and then every two years until 2012. The Under-23 category has been added to the program in 2012.
