Sicignano degli Alburni (also known simply as Sicignano) is a town and ''comune'' in the province of Salerno in the Campania region of southern Italy. History The Roman war hero Lucius Sicinius Dentatus, of the gens Sicinia, founded Sicignano degli Alburni as his ancient latifundium. The earliest documentation of Sicignano is from a medieval donation document dated 1086 by which the Norman count Asclettino Sicignano, Lord of Polla (died 1086), gives the abbey of Cava dei Tirreni the monastery of St. Peter and St. Catherine's Church, located in the Castrum Pollae. From 1811 to 1860, Sicignano was part of the district of Postiglione, belonging to the District of Country of the Two Sicilies. Bernalda (Neapolitan language, Metapontino: or ) is a town and municipality () in the province of Matera, in the southern Italy, Italian region of Basilicata. The nearby village of Metaponto is the site of the ancient city of Metapontum. Until the 15th century, it was called Camarda. It is home to a castle built in the 15th century during the Crown of Aragon, Aragonese rule in the Kingdom of Naples. The patron Saint of Bernalda is Saint Bernardino of Siena. International E-road Network
The international E-road network is a numbering system for roads in Europe developed by the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE). The network is numbered from E1 up and its roads cross national borders. It also reaches Central Asian countries like Kyrgyzstan, since they are members of the UNECE. Main international traffic arteries in Europe are defined by ECE/TRANS/SC.1/2016/3/Rev.1 which consider three types of roads: motorways, Limited-access road, limited access roads, and ordinary roads. In most countries, the roads carry the European route designation alongside national designations. Belgium, Norway and Sweden have roads which only have the European route designations (examples: European route E18, E18 and European route E6, E6).
