European Gaza Hospital
The European Hospital () is a public hospital in Al-Fukhari near Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip, State of Palestine, Palestine. It was founded by the UNRWA with a grant from the European Union in 1989. Initial construction costs for the 232-bed European Hospital were estimated at $45 million. The goal was providing primary and secondary healthcare for Gaza residents. The hospital was still under construction in 1999. In 2019, the hospital served an estimated 17,500 patients a month. It is one of the three main referral hospitals in the Gaza Strip. According to a United Nations Development Programme, UNDP report, the hospital provides laboratory services, imaging services (CT, MRI, X-ray), intensive care units, and specialised surgeries. 2023 Israel-Hamas war On 31 October 2023, Israeli air raids targeted the vicinity of the European Hospital. Al-Shifa Hospital Siege
Al-Shifa Hospital, the largest medical complex in Gaza Strip, Gaza, was sieged in mid-November 2023 during the 2023 Israel–Hamas war. On November 11, the hospital was completely encircled, cutting it off from the rest of Gaza City. On that date, Gaza Health Ministry, Gazan health officials stated that 1,500 patients, along with 1,500 medical workers and some 15,000 displaced people were stranded in the hospital. Indonesia Hospital ( ar, المستشفى الإندونيسي, translit=al-Mustashfá al-Indūnīsī, id, Rumah Sakit Indonesia) was a hospital located in Bait Lahia, North Gaza Governorate, Gaza Strip, Palestine. The Palestine Red Crescent Society ( ar, جمعية الهلال الأحمر الفلسطيني, PRCS) was founded in 1968, by Fathi Arafat, Yasser Arafat's brother.
