EuroLeague Rising Star Award
The EuroLeague Rising Star in an annual award of the EuroLeague, which is the top-tier level European-wide professional club basketball league, that is given to the player the EuroLeague deems its "top rising star". The award began in the 2004–05 season, and the winner is selected by the EuroLeague's head coaches. Only players who were younger than age 22, on July 1 of the summer before the season started, are eligible for the award. EuroLeague Awards
EuroLeague awards were established in the 1987–88 FIBA European Champions Cup, 1987–88 season, when the EuroLeague's modern era and the EuroLeague Final Four first began. More awards were created starting with the 2000–01 basketball season, when Euroleague Basketball Company essentially took over the management of European professional basketball club system, the premier level European competition from FIBA Europe. Rodolfo "Rudy" Fernández Farrés (; born 4 April 1985) is a Spanish former professional basketball player who spent the majority of his career for Real Madrid of the Spanish Liga ACB and the EuroLeague. He is a tall swingman. He is a three-time All-EuroLeague Team selection and won the EuroLeague title in 2015, 2018 and 2023. During his stint in the National Basketball Association (NBA), he was an NBA All-Rookie Second Team member. Nikola Mirotić Stajović ( cnr-Cyrl, Никола Миротић; born 11 February 1991) is a Montenegrin–born naturalized Spanish professional basketball player for Olimpia Milano of the Italian Lega Basket Serie A (LBA) and the EuroLeague. The power forward is a five-time All-EuroLeague Team member, and previously played for Real Madrid of the Liga ACB. The 2010–11 Turkish Airlines Euroleague was the 11th season of the modern era of professional Euroleague Basketball, and the first under the title sponsorship of Turkish Airlines. Including the competition's previous incarnation as the FIBA Europe Champions Cup, this was the 54th season of the premier first-tier competition for European men's clubs. The format featured 24 teams, beginning with Game 1 of the first qualifying round on September 21, 2010, and culminating at the Final Four in the Palau Sant Jordi, Barcelona. Ricard Rubio Vives (born 21 October 1990) is an inactive Spanish professional basketball player. He became the youngest player ever to play in the Spanish Liga ACB on 15 October 2005, at age 14.
