EuroLeague Awards
EuroLeague awards were established in the 1987–88 FIBA European Champions Cup, 1987–88 season, when the EuroLeague's modern era and the EuroLeague Final Four first began. More awards were created starting with the 2000–01 basketball season, when Euroleague Basketball Company essentially took over the management of European professional basketball club system, the premier level European competition from FIBA Europe. EuroLeague awards EuroLeague Full Season MVP The EuroLeague MVP, EuroLeague Full Season MVP award began in the 2004–05 Euroleague, 2004–05 season. 2019–20 EuroLeague
The 2019–20 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague was the 20th season of the modern era of the EuroLeague and the 10th under the title sponsorship of the Turkish Airlines. Including the competition's previous incarnation as the FIBA Europe Champions Cup, this was the 63rd season of the premier basketball competition for European men's clubs. The season started on 3 October 2019 and played its last games on 6 March 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. On 12 March 2020, Euroleague Basketball temporarily suspended its competitions due to the COVID-19 pandemic. On 25 May, Euroleague Basketball cancelled its competitions due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Danté Exum ( ; born 13 July 1995) is an Australian professional basketball player for the Dallas Mavericks of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He chose to bypass college and was ultimately selected by the Utah Jazz with the fifth overall pick in the 2014 NBA draft. Konstantinos "Kostas" Sloukas (Greek: Κωνσταντίνος Σλούκας born January 15, 1990) is a Greek professional basketball player and the team captain for Panathinaikos of the Greek Basketball League (GBL) and the EuroLeague. Buzzer Beater
In timed sports, a buzzer beater is a successful shot made as the clock expires at the end of a period or at the end of the game, leaving zero seconds remaining. A buzzer sounds whenever a game clock expires, hence the name "buzzer beater." In basketball, the concept normally applies to baskets made at the end of a quarter, the second half, or overtime, but is sometimes applied to shots that beat the shot clock buzzer.
