Eurimages is a cultural support fund of the Council of Europe, established in 1989. Eurimages promotes independent filmmaking by providing financial support to feature-length fiction, animation, and documentary films. In doing so, it encourages co-operation between professionals across Europe. Eurimages is headquartered in Strasbourg, France in the Agora building of the Council of Europe. The current Chairperson is Catherine Trautmann. Purpose The fund was created in 1988 within the framework of the Council of Europe, as a Partial Agreement, under Committee of Ministers Resolution (88) 15, with an independent budget of 21M €. It currently includes 38 of the 47 member states of the Council of Europe, plus Argentina and Canada as associate members. The Norwegian International Film Festival ( no, Den norske filmfestivalen) is a film festival held annually in Haugesund, Norway. The festival goes back to 1973. Mina Nikolova Mileva ( bg, Мина Николова Милева) is a Bulgarian director and animator. She is best known for her cinematography in ''Cat in the Wall'' (2019) and ''Women Do Cry'' (2021) alongside directing partner Vesela Kazakova. Life and career Mileva studied animation at the National Academy for Theatre and Film Arts in Sofia, and at La Cambre in Brussels. She has lived in London since 1997, working as a freelance animator. After relocating to the United Kingdom, Mileva entered the British animation industry, and worked as animation director, animator and line producer for films, commercials and TV series. In 2008, she set up the production company Activist 38 with Vesela Kazakova.
