Eulogio Altamirano
Pedro Eulogio Altamirano Aracena ( – March 17, 1903), was a Chilean soldier, lawyer and politician. Early life He was the son of Manuel Altamirano and Pilar Aracena. He graduated as a lawyer in 1860. His studies were carried out at the Liceo de San Felipe; National Institute since 1852; Law courses at the Instituto Nacional, National Institute and was sworn in as a lawyer on August 11, 1859. Married to Adelina Talavera Appleby, with whom he was the father of General Luis Altamirano Talavera, who would carry out a Government Junta of Chile (1924), military coup in 1925 against the presidency of Arturo Alessandri Palma and would present himself to Chile as ''de facto'' president. In his second marriage, he married Teresa Talavera Appleby, sister of the previous one; and then married for the third time, to Elena Talavera Appleby, sister of his previous wives; they had two children. Eulogio Ngache Luembe (born 8 October 1971) is an Equatoguinean sprinter. He competed in the men's 400 metres at the 1992 Summer Olympics. Career At a 15 September 1991 meeting in Malabo, Ngache ran 23.05 seconds for 200 m and 56.94 over 400 m. The marks placed him 2nd and 3rd in Equatorial Guinea on the year respectively. Ngache was seeded in the 5th 400 metres heat at the 1992 Olympics. He ran 50.83 seconds to place 8th in his heat and did not advance. His time was a personal best. His race against Baptiste Firiam was used as an example of how smaller nations had adjusted expectations at the Olympics. On 13 May 2000, Ngache ran 11.58 seconds over 100 metres at a meeting in Aluche, Madrid. Eulogio Vargas (21 March 1931 – 26 August 2020) was an Argentine-born Bolivian footballer. He played in five matches for the Bolivia national football team in 1963. He was also part of Bolivia's squad that won the 1963 South American Championship. Vargas died in La Paz, Bolivia, on 26 August 2020, at the age of 89. International career Born in Argentina, he obtained Bolivian citizenship at the beginning of the 1960s. Vargas was selected in Bolivia's squad for the 1963 South American Championship on home soil. Eulogio Uribarri León (10 October 1894 – 8 March 1972), was a Spanish footballer who played as a midfielder for Sociedad Gimnástica and Athletic Club de Madrid. Club career Uribarri began his career with Sociedad Gimnástica in 1911, with whom he played for 4 seasons until 1915, featuring alongside his older brother Ricardo. Eulogio Oyó Riqueza (5 May 1942 – 4 March 2013) was an Equatorial Guinean military leader, politician, and diplomat. Biography Eulogio Oyó Riqueza was born in Santiago de Baney (Bioko) in Spanish Guinea, on 5 May 1942. He belonged to the Bubi people. In the 1960s he traveled to Francoist Spain and studied at the General Military Academy in Zaragoza, where he graduated as ensign along with Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo and other colleagues. After his training, he was assigned to the city of Malabo. During the presidency of Francisco Macías Nguema, he was forced to leave his military post. He participated in the 1979 Equatorial Guinea coup d'état, which brought Obiang to power. Eulogio Ramiro Martínez (11 June 1935 – 30 September 1984) was a Paraguayan-born footballer who played as a striker. He played for the Spanish side FC Barcelona in the 1950s and 1960s, and is remembered for being a prolific striker with an excellent finishing ability. Eulogio Aranguren Labairu (27 July 1892 – 19 October 1972) was an Argentine footballer who spent his youth in Basque Country. He was a midfielder and played most of his career for Real Madrid CF. He was the elder brother of Sotero Aranguren who was also his teammate at Real Madrid. Biography He played for Real Madrid for 10 years, between 1911 and 1921. In this period he made 20 appearances but failed to score in official games, as he played mostly as defender.
