''Eugénie Sandler P.I.'' is a 13-part Australian children's series that first aired on ABC1 in 2000. The series stars Xaris Miller as the title character. Overview Eugénie Sandler is your average everyday teenager, worried about the usual things, like her place in the world, who she is, and what it is like to be fifteen. She also worries about her father Ray, who is a private investigator whose job causes frequent changes of address. When her father goes missing one day and she discovers a bomb in her sink, her whole world is turned upside down. With the help of her new friend Warwick, she discovers that her world is not as simple as it seems and that the freedom of a (fictional) country known as Versovia depends on her actions. Along the way, she makes many new friends, saves a lot of lives and discovers that love is not as scary as people think. David McRobbie
David Hewitt McRobbie (born 1934) is an Australian writer of television, radio and children's literature. Biography McRobbie was born in Glasgow, Scotland in 1934. In 1958 he moved to Australia and worked as a teacher in the 1960s in Papua New Guinea. He is currently a full-time writer but has previously worked as a television and radio producer, a ship's engineer, and a college lecturer. McRobbie's first published work was in 1976 with a collection of stories, entitled ''Talking Tree and Other Stories''. In 1991 he started writing the series of ''Wayne'' which he adapted in 1996 into a television series entitled ''The Wayne Manifesto''. Tony Briggs (born 3 July 1967) is an Aboriginal Australian actor. He is best known for creating the stage play '' The Sapphires'' (later a 2012 film), which tells the true story of an Aboriginal singing girl group who toured Vietnam during the war. Australian Broadcasting Company
The Australian Broadcasting Company Pty. Ltd. was a short-lived Australian commercial broadcasting company set up by Sir Benjamin Fuller and Frank Albert. Founded in Melbourne in 1924 with a capital of £A 100,000 by a consortium of entertainment interests, notably Farmer and Company, J. C. Williamson Limited and J. & N.
