Eugene Walter (November 27, 1874 – September 26, 1941) was a playwright. He was the author of the hit play ''The Easiest Way''. Biography He was born on November 27, 1874, in Cleveland, Ohio. He served in the 1st Ohio Cavalry as a private and was a veteran of the Spanish–American War. He was married to actress Charlotte Walker in 1908 in Cincinnati. Hugh Ryan "Jack" Conway (July 17, 1887 – October 11, 1952) was an American film director and film producer, as well as an actor of many films in the first half of the 20th century. Biography He was born as Hugh Ryan Conway, on July 17, 1887, in Graceville, Minnesota, USA. Conway started out as an actor, joining a repertory theater group straight out of high school. He then moved into films, and in 1911, became a member of D.W. Griffith's stock company, appearing primarily in Westerns. Four years later, he made his mark as a director and gained valuable experience at Universal (1916–17 and 1921–23), before moving on to MGM in 1925. Career Born in New York City, Cummings started his acting career at age 16 in ''Diplomacy (play), Diplomacy''. Albert Capellani (23 August 1874 Р26 September 1931) was a French film director and screenwriter of the silent era. He directed films between 1905 and 1922. One of his brothers was the actor-sculptor Paul Capellani, and another, film director Roger Capellani. Biography Albert Capellani born in Paris in 1874.
