Eugene Mussolini
Eugene Mussolini (born December 24, 1977) is a Rwandan politician. Since 2019, Mussolini has served as a member of the Chamber of Deputies, holding the parliamentary seat reserved for people with disabilities. Early life and education According to Mussolini's profile on the official website of the Chamber of Deputies, he was born on December 24, 1977. He received a Master of Business Administration degree from the Kigali Independent University. Early career A survivor of the Rwandan genocide, Mussolini criticized France's role in the Rwandan genocide. Prior to his election, Mussolini served on the Gasabo District council. Mussolini, who is physically impaired, previously worked at the National Council of People with Disability. Chamber Of Deputies (Rwanda)
The Chamber of Deputies ( rw, Umutwe w'Abadepite; french: Chambre des Députés) is the lower house of the bicameral national legislature of Rwanda. It was created under the new Constitution adopted by referendum in 2003. Composition The Chamber is made up of 80 deputies. Of these, 53 are elected for five-years term by proportional representation and 24 are elected by provincial councils; of the remainder, two are appointed by the National Youth Council, and one by the Federation of the Associations of the Disabled. Democratic Forces For The Liberation Of Rwanda
The Democratic Forces for the Liberation of Rwanda (french: Forces démocratiques de libération du Rwanda, FDLR) is an armed rebel group active in the eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo. As an ethnic Hutu group opposed to the ethnic Tutsi influence, the FDLR is one of the last factions of Rwandan rebels active in the Congo.
