Etymon is a song written by Bobby Ljunggren, Ingela Forsman and Henrik Wikström, and performed by Sonja Aldén, using the stage name "Sonya", during the Swedish Melodifestivalen 2006. The song ended up 5th during the competition in Karlstad on 25 February 2006, and was also released as a single the same year. However, the song failed to enter Svensktoppen. At the Swedish singles chart, the song peaked at 35:e position . Sonja Annika Maria Aldén (born 20 December 1977) is a Swedish singer mostly famous for her 2006, 2007, 2012 and 2020 Melodifestivalen entries, and for working together with Shirley Clamp and Sanna Nielsen, as well as her songwriting for other artists. For example, the hard rock/ heavy metal band The Poodles, who also participated in the Swedish Melodifestivalen 2006 with the song " Night of Passion". As a student she attended the Adolf Fredrik's Music School in Stockholm. "the Sweden top list") is the Swedish national record chart, formerly known as Topplistan (1975–1997) and Hitlistan (1998–2007) and known by its current name since October 2007, based on sales data from the Swedish Recording Industry Association (in Swedish Grammofonleverantörernas förening). Before Topplistan, music sales in Sweden were recorded by Kvällstoppen, whose weekly chart was a combined albums and singles list.
