Etomba is a settlement in Ohangwena Region, Namibia. It is from Ondobe and away from Eenhana Eenhana (IPA: ) is the capital town of the Ohangwena Region, northern Namibia, on the border with Angola. Nangula Nelulu Uaandja
Nangula Nelulu Uandja was born in Etomba in the Ohangwena region. She is currently the Chief Executive Director for the Namibia Investment Promotion and Development Board (NIPDB). Uandja was Namibia's first black female chartered accountant and since has amassed over 23 years experience in the auditing sphere. In 2022, she has been named one the 100 most influential African Women by Avance Media. Education From 1988 to 1992, during the struggle for Namibian independence, Nangula attended high school in Sierra Leone. Upon her return to Namibia in the early 1990s, Nangula enrolled at the University of Namibia (UNAM) to do a Bachelor of Commerce, taking the first step on her path to become a successful Namibian business woman. When she graduated from UNAM in 1996 she immediately studied and completed her honours degree with the University of South Africa (Unisa) in 1997. Regions Of Namibia
Namibia uses regions as its first-level subnational administrative divisions. Since 2013, it has 14 regions which in turn are subdivided into 121 constituencies. Upon Namibian independence, the pre-existing subdivisions from the South African administration were taken over. Since then, demarcations and numbers of regions and constituencies of Namibia are tabled by delimitation commissions and accepted or declined by the National Assembly. In 1992, the ''1st Delimitation Commission'', chaired by Judge President Johan Strydom, proposed that Namibia should be divided into 13 regions. Ohangwena Region
Ohangwena is one of the fourteen regions of Namibia, its capital is Eenhana. Major settlements in the region are the towns Eenhana and Helao Nafidi aa well as the self-governed village of Okongo. , Ohangwena had 150,724 registered voters. Ohangwena is traversed by the northwesterly line of equal latitude and longitude. Constituencies Of Namibia
Each of the 14 regions of Namibia is further subdivided into electoral constituencies. The size of the constituencies varies with the size and population of each region. There are currently 121 constituencies in Namibia. The most populous constituency according to the 2011 census was Rundu Urban in the Kavango West region with 63,431 people; the least populous was Okatyali in the Oshana region with 3,187 people. The administrative division of Namibia is tabled by ''Delimitation Commissions'' and accepted or declined by the National Assembly. South African Standard Time
South African Standard Time (SAST) is the time zone used by all of South Africa as well as Eswatini and Lesotho. The zone is two hours ahead of UTC ( UTC+02:00) and is the same as Central Africa Time. Daylight saving time is not observed in either time zone. Solar noon in this time zone occurs at 30° E in SAST, effectively making Pietermaritzburg at the correct solar noon point, with Johannesburg and Pretoria slightly west at 28° E and Durban slightly east at 31° E. Eenhana
Eenhana (IPA: ) is the capital town of the Ohangwena Region, northern Namibia, on the border with Angola. It also used to be a mission station of the Finnish Missionary Society. Eenhana is situated in a subtropical forest. It is connected to the road network and has a well-developed infrastructure. Due to the proximity of Angola, many businesses are situated here. The town hosts an annual trade fair. The name ''Eenhana'' comes from the word ''calves'' in Oshikwanyama and is a reference to the calves that used to water at the small water pan where Eenhana is now located. History Eenhana was founded around New Year's Day 1930 by the Reverend Paulus Hamutenya. Onamunhama
Onamunhama (IPA: []) is a village in the Ohangwena Region in the north of Namibia in the Oukwanyama tribal area. It is the location of the former Anglican church, Anglican Mission (station), mission station of Holy Cross. The mission station was founded in 1927 ca. 20 kilometres east of the St. Mary Mission in Odibo, right on the Angolan border. The former president of Namibia, Hifikepunye Pohamba completed his primary education in the Holy Cross Mission school in Onamunhama.
