Hayden Silas Anhedönia (born March 24, 1998), known professionally as Ethel Cain, is an American singer-songwriter, record producer, and model. Anhedönia is noted for her lyrics focused on nostalgic and Southern Gothic themes, while her music has been associated with the ambient, indie rock, and contemporary folk genres. Anhedönia has released multiple recordings under various aliases before officially starting her main project in mid-2019. Gunnersbury Park is a park between Acton, Brentford, Chiswick and Ealing, West London, England. Purchased for the nation from the Rothschild family, it was opened to the public by Neville Chamberlain, then Minister of Health, on 21 May 1926. It was self-released on January 8, 2025, through her record label Daughters of Cain with distribution from AWAL. She solely wrote, recorded, and produced it in 2024. ''Perverts'' is a drone, slowcore, and dark ambient project that Cain conceived as a side release to her main trilogy of albums, which began with '' Preacher's Daughter'' (2022). The lyrical themes of the project explore ways of perversion. ''Perverts'' was preceded by the single " Punish" on November 1, 2024. Adam McIlwee (born March 11, 1989), often known by the stage name Wicca Phase Springs Eternal (WPSE), is an American musician from Scranton, Pennsylvania. Beginning his career as a member of the rock band Tigers Jaw, he soon began pursuing a solo career with a sound based in hip hop, emo and witch house. Cain is a biblical figure in the Book of Genesis within Abrahamic religions. He is the elder brother of Abel, and the firstborn son of Adam and Eve, the first couple within the Bible.
