Ethan Evans
Ethan Gray Evans (born July 19, 2001) is an American professional football punter for the Los Angeles Rams of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Wingate Bulldogs and was selected in the seventh round of the 2023 NFL draft by the Rams. Early life Evans was born on July 19, 2001, in Mount Airy, North Carolina, and grew up there. He attended North Surry High School and played football and track, additionally being a member of the National Honor Society. He set several school kicking records, including for longest made field goal (51 yards), most career field goals (17) and most career extra points (77). He twice was named the Western Piedmont 2A Conference Specialist of the Year and was invited to the state's East–West All-Star Game after graduating, becoming the first North Surry player to participate in the event in 23 years and only the eighth overall. The conversion, try (American football), also known as a point(s) after touchdown, PAT, extra point, two-point conversion, or convert (Canadian football) is a gridiron football play that occurs immediately after a touchdown. The scoring team attempts to score one extra point by kicking the ball through the uprights in the manner of a field goal, or two points by passing or running the ball into the end zone in the manner of a touchdown. Attempts at a try or convert are scrimmage plays, with the ball initially placed at any point between the hash marks, at the option of the team making the attempt. Pittsburgh Maulers (2022)
The Pittsburgh Maulers were a professional American football team based in Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania but played their home games in Canton, Ohio. The Maulers competed in the United States Football League (2022), United States Football League (USFL) North division. Founded in 2021, the Maulers were one of the eight inaugural teams for the re-launch of the original United States Football League (2022), United States Football League which ceased operations in 1986.
