Ester Bonet
Ester Bonet Solé (Barcelona, 30 December 1950) is a Spanish Catalan philologist and linguist. Since 2020, she has held the position of President of the Catalan Society of Terminology at the Institute of Catalan Studies.Junta Directiva, SCATERM. IEC. Biography Bonet holds degrees in Physical education and Catalan philology, and a master's degree in Applied linguistics from the University of Barcelona. She has subsequently dedicated herself professionally to sports terminology, a field in which Bonet has developed research, consultancy and training activities. Bonet began her relationship with lexicology and sports terminology in 1986, coinciding with the Olympic designation of Barcelona. At that time, she participated in the writing of the ''Diccionari de l'esport'' (1989) and coordinated the publication of the twenty-nine Olympic sports dictionaries of TERMCAT. Neology
Neology ("study of new hings) was the name given to the rationalist theology of Germany or the rationalisation of the Christian religion. It was preceded by slightly less radical Wolffism. ''Chambers English Dictionary'' of 1872 adds the application of this term specifically to new theological doctrines, especially those arising from German Rationalism: which would have been by those who deprecated them. The Swedish encyclopaedia ''Nationalencyklopedin'' defines neology as a type of Protestant theology during the second half of 18th century, to large extent formed by ideas from the Enlightenment including British deism. According to ''Encyclopaedia Britannica,'' neology was based on the downplaying of revelation, fulfillment of biblical prophecies, and miracles, in favor of reason as the most important tool for understanding God. As such it is a concept of human rights law, international law as well as constitutional law, particularly used for claims of popular sovereignty. In contrast, a people is any plurality of persons considered as a whole. Used in politics and law, the term "a people" refers to the collective or community of an ethnic group or nation.
