Estadio Max Augustín
The Estadio Max Augustín is a multi-purpose stadium in Iquitos, Peru. It is the home ground of the football (soccer) team AD Comerciantes FC, of the Peruvian Segunda División along with Colegio Nacional Iquitos and several other Copa Perú teams from Iquitos and the surrounding region. The stadium can accommodate 24,576 people. It was built in 1942 and renovated in 2005. The sol (; plural: soles; currency sign: S/) is the currency of Peru; it is subdivided into 100 ''céntimos'' ("cents"). The ISO 4217 currency code is PEN. Colegio Nacional Iquitos
Colegio Nacional Iquitos (usually referred to as CNI) is a Peruvian football team based in the city of Iquitos which was founded in 1926. CNI is the biggest club in the city of Iquitos and currently is not playing in any league. At the beginning of 2012 CNI withdrew from Peruvian Segunda División and chose to play in the 2012 Copa Perú, after being relegated from Primera División in 2011. Asociación Deportiva Comerciantes Fútbol Club commonly known as Comerciantes, is a Peruvian professional football club, playing in the city of Belén, Loreto. Founded in 2017, they currently participate in the Liga 2, after gaining promotion from the 2022 Copa Perú. History The Comerciantes FC was founded on 20 August 2017.
