Estadio El Bayu is a football (soccer), football stadium in Pola de Siero, Siero, and is the Home (sports), home of Club Siero. History The stadium was built in 2006 after the demolition of Estadio Luis Miranda, the old stadium in the village, for building the Autovía A-64, A-64 highway. It was inaugurated on 31 October 2006 with a friendly football game between the Spain women's national football team, Spain women's national team and a team composed by Spanish players. The stadium has only one stand with capacity for 4,500 spectators and it is currently used by all the teams of the four clubs located at Pola de Siero. La Pola Siero (in Spanish language, Spanish Pola de Siero, and also known as La Pola colloquially) is a town in the autonomous community of Asturias on the north coast of the Kingdom of Spain. It is the administrative capital of the municipality (concejo) of Siero. Siero is a municipality of the autonomous community of Asturias, in northern Spain. With a population of 52,194 as of 2023, Siero is the fourth most populous municipality in Asturias. Club Siero
Club Siero is a Spanish football team based in Pola de Siero, in the autonomous community of Asturias. Founded in 1916, it plays in , holding home matches at ''Estadio El Bayu'', with a capacity of 5,000 seats. History Despite being football present in Siero since 1909, Club Siero was not founded until 16 March 1916 with the name of ''Siero Foot-Ball Club''.
