The Estadio Anxo Carro, also known as Estadio Ángel Carro, is a stadium located in Lugo, Galicia, Spain. It is currently used for football matches and is the home stadium of CD Lugo. Lugo
Lugo (, ; la, Lucus Augusti) is a city in northwestern Spain in the autonomous community of Galicia. It is the capital of the province of Lugo. The municipality had a population of 98,025 in 2018, making it the fourth most populous city in Galicia. Lugo is the only city in the world to be surrounded by completely intact Roman walls, which reach a height of along a circuit ringed with 71 towers. Club Deportivo Lugo is a Spanish football team based in Lugo, in the autonomous community of Galicia. Founded on 8 July 1953, it plays in Segunda División, holding home games at ''Estadio Anxo Carro''. History The new board of directors was officially formed under the presidency of Emilio Núñez Torrón on Wednesday, 8 July 1953, after a merger between '' SG Lucense'' and ''CD Polvorín''.
