Estación Molina
Estación Molina, is a railway station of the Empresa de los Ferrocarriles del Estado, located in Molina, Chile. It is located on Luis Cruz Martinez avenue. Estación Molina is part of the Red Sur EFE, the TerraSur inter-city service has a stop here. This station is between Ruta 5 and downtown Molina. In February 2010, Estacion Molina was damaged in the 2010 Chile earthquake. Later that same year the station began to take passengers. Molina, Chile
Molina is a Chilean city and commune in Curicó Province, Maule Region. Molina is named after Chilean Jesuit Juan Ignacio Molina. Demographics According to the 2002 census of the National Statistics Institute, Molina spans an area of and has 38,521 inhabitants (19,392 men and 19,129 women). Of these, 28,232 (73.3%) lived in urban areas and 10,289 (26.7%) in rural areas. The population grew by 8% (2,847 persons) between the 1992 and 2002 censuses. Administration As a commune, Molina is a third-level administrative division of Chile administered by a municipal council, headed by an alcalde who is directly elected every four years. The 2008-2012 alcalde is Mirtha Segura Ovalle (UDI). Empresa De Los Ferrocarriles Del Estado
Empresa de los Ferrocarriles del Estado (abbreviated EFE, lit. ''State Railway Company'') is the national railway and the oldest state-run enterprise in Chile. TerraSur
Tren Estación Central - Chillan (previously known as EFE Chillán or TerraSur) is a Chilean Inter-city rail service, opened in 2001 between Santiago and Chillán, on the ''Chilean Central Valley''. It is operated by the ''Trenes Regionales Terra S.A.'', a subsidiary of the Empresa de los Ferrocarriles del Estado (EFE). Covering almost 400 km in less than 5 hours, it is the fastest public transportation between the two cities. Currently it is one of the only inter-city services that still operates in the country, (the other intercity rail service is the Alameda-Temuco train, a seasonal train) and is the fastest rail service in South America, with an operational speed reaching 160 km/h. Since June 2012, TerraSur has two daily services on each direction, between Santiago and Chillán, increasing to three on Mondays. Estación Central (railway Station)
Central Station (), also known as Alameda station, is a major railway station in Santiago, Chile. It serves the south of the country and is the city's primary railway hub. After the closure of Mapocho, it became the only major railway station in Santiago. It is on the Avenida Libertador General Bernardo O'Higgins, facing Matucana avenue. Estación Linares is a railway station of the Empresa de los Ferrocarriles del Estado, located in Linares, Chile. It is the main railway station in the Linares Province, and is located on Brasil Avenue. Estación Linares is part of the Red Sur Empresa de los Ferrocarriles del Estado, EFE, the TerraSur inter-city service has a stop here, and since 2012 the ''Expreso Maule'' has its final stop here.
