Carlos Esquivel
Carlos Esquivel Silva (born 10 April 1982) is a Mexican former professional footballer who played as a winger. Club career Esquivel uprooted through the younger divisions of Toluca, and debuted in Apertura 2005 with then coach Américo Gallego. That season precisely Toluca became champions. Esquivel stayed there until Clausura 2008 when Esquivel was sent on loan to Tigres UANL for that one season. He returned to Toluca afterwards. On 13 December 2017, Esquivel was loaned to Veracruz in a 6-month deal. In June 2019, Esquivel joined UAEM of Ascenso MX. The Venezuelan Football Federation ( es, link=no, Federación Venezolana de Fútbol or FVF) is the governing body of football in Venezuela. It was founded in 1925 and affiliated in 1952. Rafael Esquivel
Rafael Esquivel Melo (born 1946/1947) is a Venezuelan former football administrator. He was a member of CONMEBOL executive committee and president of the Venezuelan Football Federation (FVF). Career and arrest Esquivel was president of the Venezuelan Football Federation from 1988 to 2015. Esquivel was arrested in May 2015 in Switzerland to face corruption charges in the United States. He was banned by FIFA Ethics Committee. In March 2016, Esquivel was extradited to the US and pleaded not guilty in Brooklyn Federal Court. He was released from jail on a US$7 million bond. Manuel Esquivel
Sir Manuel Amadeo Esquivel (2 May 1940 – 10 February 2022) was a Belizean politician. As leader of the United Democratic Party, he served as Prime Minister from 1984 to 1989, and then again from 1993 to 1998. His party's victory in 1984 was the first time an opposition party had won a general election in Belize. Early life Esquivel was born in Belize City when it was the capital of the British Crown Colony of British Honduras. He attended St John's College and later earned a Bachelor of Science degree in physics at Loyola University New Orleans; he subsequently pursued a postgraduate certificate in physics education at Bristol University, England. Politics After the 1969 British Honduras election, Esquivel became head of the pro-business Liberal Party, which later merged with two other parties in 1973 to form the United Democratic Party (UDP).

Julia Esquivel Velásquez (May 3, 1930 – July 19, 2019) was a Guatemalan poet, theologian and human rights activist. Biography Esquivel was an academic at San Carlos University, Guatemala, the ''Seminario Biblico Latinoamericano'' in Costa Rica and the Bossey Ecumenical Institute in Switzerland. Her poetry was heavily influenced by the Theology of Liberation, which was widespread in Latin American Catholic communities in the 1950s and 1960s. She had initially requested to study theology at a Presbyterian seminary in Guatemala but was rejected on the basis of her sex. Juan Esquivel Barahona
Juan eEsquivel Barahona (c. 1560 – after 1623) was the most prominent of the last generation of Spanish church composers of the Renaissance era. Although he never served in one of the major Spanish cathedrals, his music was known throughout Spain during the early seventeenth century. Life Juan de Esquivel was born in or near Ciudad Rodrigo, an ancient cathedral city southwest of Salamanca. He began service as a choirboy in the cathedral in 1568 and, according to choir chaplain Antonio Sánchez Cabañas, he was a student of Juan Navarro, the cathedral's choirmaster during Esquivel's youth. Esquivel's first appointment as ''maestro de capilla'' came in 1581, when he was named to the post in Oviedo, the capital of the province of Asturias in Northern Spain. Juan De Esquivel
Juan de Esquivel (c. 1480 - c. 1515) was a Spanish colonist and first governor of Jamaica. Biography Juan de Esquivel was a native of Seville, the son of Pedro de Esquivel and Constanza Fernandez de Arauz. His grandfather, Gabriel Sanchez, had been a controller of customs in Seville. Juan de Esquivel accompanied Christopher Columbus in 1493 on his second voyage to the West Indies where he settled on Hispaniola. In 1502 the governor of the Indies, Nicolás de Ovando, sent Esquivel with 400 men to subjugate the Tainos on the eastern end of the island. The region was depopulated and many of the defeated natives were made slaves. As a young man, Bartolomé de las Casas was part of the Spanish force and later wrote about the violence he witnessed.
