Esad Plavi
Esad Muharemović (; born 22 February 1965), known by his stage name Esad Plavi (, "Esad the Blond / Blond Esad") is a Bosnian pop-folk singer. Esad's best known songs are "Šeherezada", popular with young females, and "Babo". Esad is the twin brother of Bosnian singer Jasmin Muharemović. Personal life and career Born in Tešanj, Esad's life was affected by his father's death. His talent was discovered at his brother's wedding party where Esad sang. His first contract was signed in 1989, and after a year he released his debut album ''Ne kuni što si voljela'' (''Don't curse what you have loved''). Tešanj
Tešanj ( sr-cyrl, Тешањ) is a town and municipality located in the Zenica-Doboj Canton of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, an entity of Bosnia and Herzegovina. As of 2013, it has a population of 43,063 inhabitants, while the town of Tešanj has a population of 5,257 inhabitants. It is situated in the northern part of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Geography Tešanj is located at an altitude of 230 meters and developed around the river Tešanjka. The town is surrounded by many hills. History The present name of the city was mentioned for the first time in 1461 in a charter from King Stephen Tomašević to his uncle Radivoj. Pop-folk
Turbo-folk (sometimes referred as pop-folk or popular folk) is subgenre of contemporary pop music with its origins in Serbia, that initially developed during the 1980s and 1990s, with similar music styles in Bulgaria ( chalga), Romania ( manele) and Albania ( tallava). It is a fusion genre of popular music, blending Serbian folk music with other genres: such as pop, rock, electronic and some hip-hop. Jasmin Muharemović (; born 22 February 1965) is a Bosnian pop-folk singer. In 1983 he moved in Požarevac in order to meet Novica Urošević, the folk hit-maker, and start a professional folk singer career. Muharemović's first album sold 250,000 copies, and he had great success as a beginner. In 1994, due to the war in his home country, formerly a part of Yugoslavia, he moved to Vienna. He lives between Vienna and his birth city Tešanj.
