Eruption Radio
Eruption Radio is a London-based radio station that broadcasts online and on DAB playing house, breakbeat and happy hardcore, and drum and bass as well as other genres. Eruption Radio originally started life in February 1993 as Eruption FM, a pirate radio station broadcasting from Waltham Forest, East London, broadcasting until February 2012. Eruption returned as an online station on 17 May 2019, with many of its original DJs. As of 2 February 2021, Eruption commenced broadcasting on small-scale DAB in the Bristol area, and Cambridge. House Music
House is a music genre characterized by a repetitive four-on-the-floor beat and a typical tempo of 120 beats per minute. DJ Hype
Kevin Ford (born 1968), better known as DJ Hype, is a British jungle and drum and bass producer and DJ. Biography Hype first became involved in music as a teenager in 1982, assisting PJ and Smiley with their sound system Heatwave in East London, which evolved into Shut Up and Dance. Hype began producing in 1989, engineering and co-producing tracks (including "Exorcist" and "The Bee") for Kickin'Records, Strictly Underground and Suburban Base. UK garage producer Wookie remembers that Hype worked with The Scientist on "The Bee" to create one of the first jungle tunes to hit big, following "£10 to Get In" by Shut Up and Dance in 1989. Nicky Blackmarket (born Nicholas Andersson-Gylden) is a British drum and bass DJ and record producer. Blackmarket is regarded as one of the pivotal figures in the early jungle/drum and bass scene. He has been playing drum and bass all over the world for the past two decades. Benjamin Pettit (born 12 March 1972), better known as DJ Zinc, is a British DJ and record producer. Zinc first became known for 1995's "Super Sharp Shooter", a hip hop/jungle fusion, notably one of the pioneering jump-up anthems of its time.
