Erta is the women's FIS Alpine Ski World Cup, World Cup giant slalom ski course on Piz de Plaies mountain in Kronplatz, Italy. Course debuted in World Cup in 2017, with an exception in 2024 when two giant slalom events were held there. American skier Mikaela Shiffrin won record 3 giant slaloms in total. With average incline at 32% and minimum incline at 22%, this course is considered as the most demanding giant slalom in Women's World Cup circuit. Paula Moltzan
Paula Moltzan (born April 7, 1994) is an American World Cup alpine ski racer and specializes in slalom and giant slalom. Biography Born to Robyn and Mark Moltzan and from Minnesota, Moltzan began racing at Buck Hill, south of Minneapolis. She competed at the World Championships in 2015 at Beaver Creek, finishing twentieth in the slalom. A month later she won gold in the slalom at the Junior World Championships at Hafjell, Norway. Moltzan raced collegiately for the University of Vermont in Burlington and won the NCAA title in slalom in 2017 at Cannon Mountain, New Hampshire. She rejoined the World Cup circuit for the 2018–19 season and finished eighteenth in slalom at the World Championships in 2019. 2024–25 FIS Alpine Ski World Cup
The 2024–25 FIS Alpine Ski World Cup, organised by the International Ski Federation (FIS), was the 59th World Cup season for men and women as the highest level of international alpine skiing competitions. The season started on 26 October 2024 in Sölden, Austria, and concluded on 27 March 2025 at the finals in Sun Valley, United States. The season took a break in February for the World Championships in Saalbach, Austria. Marco Odermatt and Lara Gut-Behrami, both from Switzerland, were the reigning champions from the previous season. Odermatt successfully defended his title, claiming the crystal globe for the 4th consecutive time. Gut-Behrami finished the season in 2nd place, as Federica Brignone from Italy secured the women's overall title for the 2nd time in her career. Alice Robinson
Alice Robinson (born 1 December 2001) is a New Zealand World Cup alpine ski racer. At age sixteen, she competed at the 2018 Winter Olympics in giant slalom and slalom. She represented New Zealand in the giant slalom event at the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing. Early life Robinson was born in Sydney, Australia, the second of three children of Sarah and David Robinson. Her parents moved to Queenstown permanently when Robinson was four. She started her ski racing career at Coronet Peak with the Queenstown Alpine Ski Team and also trained in California, United States, with the Sugar Bowl Ski Team and Academy based in Tahoe City during the northern hemisphere winter. Tessa Worley (born 4 October 1989) is a French former World Cup alpine ski racer and non-commissioned officer. Marta Bassino (born 27 February 1996) is an Italian World Cup alpine ski racer. She competes in all disciplines, with a focus in giant slalom, in which she has six World Cup wins. Biography Born in Cuneo, Piedmont, Bassino lives in Borgo San Dalmazzo.
